I bought these to light signs on a fence I made. I was very happy with the results. The light last from dusk till dawn. ( I did position the solar panel to get optimum light. )

The images in the npcpsolar.com description are confusing as you just don't often mount it the way shown (as a teepee or triangle with air underneath). You mount it flush with a corner of wood or metal (usually wood). With that in mind, this Intelamp folding outdoor solar light (npcpsolar.com ASIN B0D7M8RPZB) is handy under the circumstances where you want to mount it onto a south-facing corner that gets plenty of sunlight from above, and where you want to illuminate the area to the side and below. (If it matters, when mounting, the screw holes to drill will be exactly 90mm (3-1/2 inches) apart.) With a stated 4000mAh battery, the 1300LM (aka 1,300 lumens) is bright enough, but I'd take the 270 degrees of light with a grain of salt because you have to match the mounting to the beam you're mounting it to, where you can see from the attached photos that the light angles are slight on the two sides. Note that the motion sensors are on those two slightly beveled side panels. The npcpsolar.com listing says the floodlight is IP65 Waterproof, which means Ingress Protection level 6 for solids and level 5 for liquids, which means it can withstand fine dust without penetration of that dust, and it can hold up against low-pressure water jets without penetration of that water. The box provides the following information which I write here to help you make good buying decisions: Model YL002-13A Solar Panel 5V/850mA, Polycrystaline Silicon Light source SMD 2835 LED & 100 PCS (i.e., there are 100 LEDs in toto, each about 10 lumens) Dimensions L245*W130*T37mm (i.e., length, width, thickness) Dimensions L9.6*W5.1*T1.4inch (i.e., length, width, thickness) Manufacturer Shenzhen Jindian Electronic Technology Co. I use these lights to light up sections of my yard not covered by the streetlight. The one I ordered before this one from a different seller I upgraded the batteries to a better 18650 so it would make it through the night. I see some of these on npcpsolar.com that look the same but say they use 2 AAA batteries, and I don't know if that is a misprint, but 2 AAA batteries would not be enough storage.

High quality lamps that have a modern yet classic look. These are real glass and so easy to install. They have a bit of weight to them and my guess is they need to be attached to a solid surface because of the weight. They do stand up on their own and the hardware for installing these on a wall, as well as very good instructions, are included. A nice feature is the battery is easily accessible so we will be able to use these for many years to come as we can simply replace the battery when the charge no longer holds. After a day in the sun, the light was still on when we left the house at 5 am this morning. Hope the photo shows how much light they provide. The 4 pack is perfect for our tiny home as we are installing them on the pergola 4x4s. Overall surprised at the good value for these high quality solar outdoor wall lights. They really look and feel so much better in person than we expected. They have a clean install and look like electric-run lights. The only limitation is you will need to install them in a location where you get at least 6 hours of sun (south facing is always the best). These solar lights stand upright on their own (see photo) and one option is you could easily place them on a walk way without installing them on a wall. We had them charging on our brick patio, and a friend commented on how nice they would look on a walkway or deck because they do provide a decent amount of light. So happy we ordered these to test out. It's always nice to be able to share our good experience when a product, such as these outdoor solar lights, exceeds out expectations.

Well made and easy to install. A good strong Florida charge on these ans they are still on in the morning. I use them on my back fence where I don't have an electric outlet.

These lights are completely next level! I got a little irritated putting them together earlier because sometimes the tubes the light strings go down into don’t want to accept any little curves in the wiring….so, I got a little aggravated about that. That being said…after seeing how show stopping they are in the dark….i couldn’t care less if they were irritating at the time or not—-they are beyond worth a little aggravation! In fact, they’d still be worth it if they were impossibly hard to put together and they’re really not…once you get the hang of it.. everything goes smoothly. There is plenty of wiring in between each firework, so you can spread them out if you wish. After seeing them in the dark I have decided that I’m going to run a light hanging cable far above our pool and hang them above the water. They are very bright, so they should really stand out at night with water below them! These are beyond great…hold no doubts at all, you will adore these lights from the get go the first time you see them at night! They have plenty of different modes…but, this variation of colors is my personal favorite!

These things are great. We had a few cheap Home D.... ones that cant hold a charge for more than like 3-4 hrs--from DAY ONE. These stay lit nearly all night. Sure they get more dim after several hours but they do stay lit at some level all night. A nice bright white light. The pic is of cat's grave marker. Looks nice all night.

This is just another 5 star update for TomCare solar lanterns. We had our second hot day of summer and had a power outage (thanks PG&E) so when this happens I bring my solar lanterns into the house for extra lighting. I put them in the hallway, bathroom and kids bedrooms (yes I have that many and because I finally lost a couple that I had since Covid lockdown I’m going to order more). So I wanted to give another high five to TomCare for helping us out during these pesky power outages. Original review: I just got them yesterday and out outside to get the sun. At dusk I went to turn on but they only turned on when turned upside down. I realized it was because my hand was on top of solar panel so it signaled it was dark. Duh!!! Anyway put them out and as soon as it was dark enough they came on. Amazing!!!! I’m going to get more. They look like little flickering lamps. Can’t speak to longevity yet and as far as warmth I gave it 5 stars because they LOOK warm....not actually warm to touch😂. Our yard has faint yard lights and I needed some pops of light and these are just what I needed.

This waterproof LED lamp has a case made of ABS, a safe type of plastic, and a bracket made of steel. It is rated at 50 watts. It is very big. Since it is heavy, to be safe, I attached it to a steel pole that I used to hang my hammock. I could hang it much higher than that but I did not want to bother my neighbors. It looks impressive and well-constructed. Its website claims its brightness is 3000 lumens. I own three spotlights also rated at 3000 lumens, made by a world-renowned and respectable company, and they are noticeable brighter than this lamp. Please do not misunderstand me; this LED lamp is very bright, but not as bright as the spotlights. I do not know if my remote control is defective or not, but to be able to command from the remote control, I had to be standing less than 8–10 feet away from it, and even at that distance, sometimes it worked sporadically. Further than that, the lamp will not be able to receive commands. Since the batteries included in this package look low quality, I replaced them with two new ones made by a popular and respectable company, but it still did not work. When I ordered this lamp, I thought that I could control it from the comfort of my home; it looks like I thought wrong. This remote control is probably designed to control the lamp, which is installed high above the ground, while standing right below it. If one stands more than 10 feet away, then it will not work most of the time.

I ordered this $46 set of four matching Auderwin solar wall-light cubes (npcpsolar.com ASIN B0DYJ25TKK) to light up a long concrete wall where what I love about these "cubes" is that they're solidly built. I weighed the cubes on my kitchen scale at about 304 grams each (which is about 10-3/4 ounces each) and they're built with aluminum all around. I passed a strong magnet all about the cube and while there was some slight attraction (probably due to components inside), even the outside four bolts were barely magnetic. The main flaw of these lights, as with many solar lights, is that the panel is rigidly placed such that your wall must face south for these lights to stand any chance of being powered by the 3-inch by 2-inch solar panel on the top. Also there is only one way to mount them, which makes installation simple as all you do is drill two holes using the paper template provided and then you slip the unit over the protruding bolt heads. In my application, I had a concrete wall with an overhanging cap block lip, which made installation location problematic because I had to mount the lights well below the overhanging lip so that the sun would irradiate the solar panel. Another issue that isn't obvious until you install them is that they will tend to collect snow given they're mounted against a wall and they form a horizontal flat surface for snow to collect on - which will impede the sunlight from getting to the panels. For rain, being IP65, they're protected against the dust that you might blow about when cleaning with an air blower, and they're protected against water spray from any direction, although they can't be submerged in water. You can't mount them near another light source as they won't go on at night when they sense motion, so you even have to place them a few feet apart (mine are ten feet apart and that works) to keep each unit from interfering with another. The three modes are confusing at first, but you should decide ahead of time as the mode switch is covered once you mount the lights to the wall (which I guess is a good thing as the kids can't easily play with the modes). Mode 1 = motion-sensor mode (no light at night but bright light turns on during motion events) Mode 2 = motion-sensor mode (dim light on at night, bright light during motion events) Mode 3 = night light (dim light on at night, off during the day, no motion sensing) It's a bit confusing because there is not much difference between dim and bright modes, and worse, there's no indication of which mode you're in without explicit testing at night, so you should best set the mode from off, where each click moves you to the next mode in the sequence and then back to OFF. The power source is an 800mAh rechargeable battery, but there's no indication if it's user replaceable in the npcpsolar.com listing or packaging inserts. The cubes are roughly about 3-1/8 inch square. Of the six sides of the cube, two are for sensors & controls, and two are for the lights (one of which also has the solar panel0, and the other two are blank panels. Overall, these are a set of four solidly built approximately 3-inch square wall mounted aluminum Auderwin solar wall-light cubes with three lighting modes, two of which with motion sensing, but their fixed solar panel requires a south-facing wall for optimal charging, and installation can be tricky with overhanging structures. For more information, please see the included detailed photos. In explaining all of this, I hope this review helps you make a more informed decision.

Currently I installed in my backyard as it’s dark in night time, which is very useful and bright and good I no need of electrician / wiring, that’s big savings for me and in night time now without worry I’m able to go to my garden. And also it’s comes with remote control so I can turn off or change settings easily which is very useful

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this little guy! Adds a little humor to my backyard. I love the vibrant colors! I get so many compliments on these (I am trying to buy all the colors and putting them in different spots in my backyard). Comes in a cute box (as pictured) and very carefully packaged! I made sure to use a small zip tie for extra reinforcement when I hung him up because we have some gusty winds in Southern California. This little guy stays lit for many hours after the sun goes down. Very happy with my purchase! :)

These little fairy lights are so perfect! I wanted an option for holiday lights that wouldn't end up costing an arm and a leg with electricity so I figured I'd try them out. They are better than expected! In the picture, they are the lights on the window and on the sidewalk (I bought another brand for the tree and railing that didn't have the rope aspect). The fact that they're solar means they turn on automatically at night and off in the morning which is a huge help. I'm blown away with how bright they are for being such teeny tiny lights. I wanted to point out again that they are "FAIRY LIGHTS" which means they're the kind that are on very thin wire. The clear PVC rope aspect is also small, just slightly larger than a phone charger cord. Based on reviews of this and similar products it seems some people we're confused on what they were buying. They are not your standard large rope lights (which was perfect for me). I'm probably going to buy more! Can't believe I haven't done this before.
