I absolutely love the looks of the torch lights. I purchased two sets from two different people. This set had 6 in them. The first couple of days two went out and didn't come back on. I asked for those two to be replaced. Seller said they would replace them but I never received the replacement. I contacted npcpsolar.com and they replaced the whole set. It is a good thing because by the time I received the second set another one went out. npcpsolar.com is very good to work with. I hope the lights left remain working.
The main purpose for this item for me was to point it towards the front door as I constantly have to pull out my phone flashlight when trying to get into the house. I really like the color temperature as it doesn’t feel like I’m being interrogated soon as I open the door lol but bright enough where I can see where everything is. I just installed this today so I will be sure to update how it holds up, but all in all it’s bright, you can adjust the positions easily, and best of all it’s budget friendly so even if it goes out a few months to a year down the line I’d still say I got my moneys worth.
I bought these to illuminate my flag that is attached to the corner of my garage and our name ornament on the garage. I attached them to the eaves trough. Light lasts all night even now that we are in falls shorter days. They are not very bright, but enough to properly illuminate the flag at night and our house number and our decorative name plaque.
I’ve been wanting these forever! The brightness in the evening is perfect. They were easy to put together. They are durable and don’t feel cheep. They look great when it gets dark. As soon as I got them in the mail, I put them together and they started working that evening. I will eventually change where they are but I couldn’t wait to see how they would look.
I bought these to light my sidewalk, in an area where there are plants lining the space. These taller lights are great because they are able to collect light more easily and shine the whole night. I like the option to swap between warm and cool light. I found them fairly easy to snap together (a couple did take a little muscle to get lined up) and they look great! I have only had them for a month or so, but so far they seem durable and perform well.
VZVI 7 inch solar powere landscaping lightv looks great in my yard both day and night....very easy to mount on any flat surface...batttery last all night when charged with about six hours of full sun.....great detail and craftsmanship make the light totally worth the asking price
I was looking for some outdoor lighting to brighten up my yard, so I decided to give these Wenaty Solar Spot Lights a try. I must say, they have exceeded my expectations. With 46 LEDs and three different brightness modes, these lights provide ample illumination for any situation. The AUTO ON/OFF feature is particularly useful as it means I don't have to worry about manually turning them on or off every day (I once tried setting a reminder but forgot like 3 times in a row). The waterproof design ensures that the lights can withstand various weather conditions, which is great considering my location. Installation was a breeze, and the flexible mounting options allowed me to position the lights exactly where I wanted them. Now, whenever I take my evening walks around the neighborhood, I can admire the beautiful glow they provide (I've noticed that some of the neighbors have started using them too - maybe they like the look). The Wenaty Solar Spot Lights have definitely made a positive impact on my nighttime experiences, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and efficient outdoor lighting.
Really nice looking units. They have different sizes plates to fit 4” 5” & 6” posts. I have 4x4 posts but opted to use the 5x5 plate as this looked better with the 1/2” overhang. Yet to see how the batteries last but. Really pleased with the look
I’m really happy with the way these solar lights work. They were very easy to assemble; just push the pole segments together and then into the ground; switch the three-way switch to warm or white and thats it! The lights have a 'larger' than standard battery cell which charge well during sunlight hours and then stays lit for all night into the morning hours. I confirmed that they were brightly lit even at 6am! They are weatherproof, so they should hold up to rain and temperature extremes very well. The key thing is to make sure the placement gives the good sunlight to maximize the charge for all night. Overall, a decent value for the price, and the look good too! See photos.
These solar landscape lights offer a great solution for backyard illumination without the expense of hardwiring. They provide impressive lighting that lasts into the early morning, all while keeping your electricity bill low. Even on cloudy days, the lights still perform, although they typically shine until around 1 a.m. One of the features I appreciate most is their easy installation and the adjustable solar panel, which allows you to optimize sunlight exposure. Overall, I would recommend these lights as a practical and effective addition to outdoor spaces. These solar landscape lights are fantastic. I have a hard-wired LED yard light with motion sensor and D2D (dusk to dawn) that locked in the dawn OFF mode many years ago. I ordered this solar light as a great replacement which consumes no electricity and should last for years. I am very pleased with its design and operation. The light has two large solar panels and three light sections. The wing lights adjust from back-to-back to 180 degrees flat. The mounting bracket and arm assembly is hard plastic. There is a lot of upper surface area on the solar panels and we get snowstorms in the winter – as to strength, I will update this review if the plastic mounting bracket or arm assembly break under the weight of a normal snowfall. The base takes 4 screws – I prefer self-drilling deck screws for jobs like this (it comes with screws and anchor). I let it charge in the full sun for 2 days before activating it – there was enough battery for testing when it arrived. The arm has two adjustment locks but are limited to vertical adjustment, non-rotating or left/right angling. Caution: when unscrewing the locking knob, be sure to put a finger over the small nut to prevent dropping and losing it. I found it easier to install by removing the arm/light from the bracket because the arm and light are a bit heavy. The included pamphlet recommends an installation height around 2 meters or 6.5 feet for optimum lighting and motion sensing. I installed it around 15 feet up and the lighting illuminated the yard nicely and the motion sensor detected movement around 15 feet from the base of the wall. The remote is very useful – don't forget to pull out the plastic battery saver slip. 3 MODES: 1 = OFF – motion bright for 30 sec. 2 = ON – medium light no sensor (the mode I am using because I have other motion lights there) 3 = ON dim – motion bright for 30 sec. You can use the remote to increase or decrease the light intensity. (There is an ON/OFF switch under the light itself – be sure to turn it on.) WATERPROOF: IP65 – sorry, this rating means dust-tight (6) and water-resistant (5) which is good enough for rain and snow. To be WATERPROOF, you need a combination IPx6/IPx8 rating.
I was happy to see they don't actually use built-in batteries, but rather a user-serviceable 18650 battery - if you need more than 2200mAh, it should work to replace with a higher-capacity battery. The 90° bracket is an interesting touch in case you need to light around the corner of a building. The center light only pivots up and down, but the outer lights pivot and swivel so you can still effectively light a broad area. Mounted at the peak of my carport, I get a nice flood of light to the entrance and inside. The included included are extremely soft metal, so don't bother trying to use them if you need to mount to sheet metal.
The LED’s themselves are barely noticeable behind beautiful clear textured panels. Quite versatile with several mounting bracket options included. On December 21st the longest night of the year, with a full charge, these lights stayed on from dusk till dawn. The attached photo of slightly dimming lights have already been on for 12 hours. (Northeast Ohio, February) So if you have beautiful lush shade trees around your deck, don’t buy solar lights and complain about short battery life.
Great lights. Perfect to give my fence a little “mood” lighting. They were super simple to hang and look awesome. I’ve had lots of compliments from my neighbors. Hopefully they will last a few years before I need to replace them.
