I couldn’t be happier with the XMCOSY Smart Solar Lights! These lights completely transformed my backyard—stylish, functional, and incredibly easy to use. Setup was a breeze, and I was impressed with how solid and well-built they felt right out of the box. What really sets them apart is the smart app control. Being able to adjust brightness and color temperature from my phone is a huge plus, especially when entertaining guests or just relaxing on the patio. The fact that they come with 4 bases (not 3, as I initially thought) to fit different sizes of vinyl and wooden posts is a huge plus. This flexibility ensures a secure and stable fit, which is essential for outdoor lighting. I love that these lights are completely self-contained, with no need to run electrical wiring. This makes installation a breeze, and I can place them anywhere I need without worrying about cables or outlets.

The solar light is constructed well and can fit in with either modern or traditional styles. Its rounded corners give it a nice touch. The light is evenly distributed and is bright enough to provide more than ambiance.

We got these for ambiance and to mark the fence line in our backyard. They feel rigid and sturdy (firm plastic). The flame effect isn’t the best but at a distance it’s acceptable. They fit within the space of a fence picket and add to the decor during daylight hours.

EDIT 4: I was writing a review for another product when I realized that I bought these lights two years ago tomorrow. I thought I'd write a quick update to say these little guys (all 4) have performed flawlessly for the last two years through frigid, dark northwest winters and blazing hot, 100+ degree summers. EDIT 3: I loved these lights so much that I added a second pair last summer. All four have worked flawlessly since then. Even with the reduced sunlight and frigid temperatures (down to -20) in winter, these lights have continued to work perfectly for over a year. Love them! EDIT 2: Both the seller and npcpsolar.com were quick to resolve the issue of the broken light. The new one is installed and has been working flawlessly since. I'm so glad the situation has been fixed; I love these little lights and really didn't want to purchase something different. Based on my experience, I've updated the rating to 5 stars. EDIT 1: I requested a replacement which npcpsolar.com sent within a few days. Since my original order was a two-pack, that is what I received as a replacement. Both lights work out of the box so I will replace the broken one tonight and see how it goes. I will edit this review if the new light continues to work. I’ve also updated the rating to 3 stars to reflect the quick replacement time. Original review (2 stars): I really liked these lights for my barn--attractive, easy to install, and perfect level of brightness. I installed them on either side of my barn to help with evening chores. Both lights worked perfectly for two weeks and then one suddenly stopped working altogether. I'm very disappointed and hoping the seller can send a replacement. I'd give this product a 5-star rating if both lights worked for a reasonable amount of time.

Okay, so I’ll admit that I totally thought these solar fence lights were going to be bigger based on the pictures. Imagine my surprise when I opened the npcpsolar.com box, grabbed the product packaging, and was hit with the realization that these are, in fact, compact. Underwhelmed? Yeah, for a moment. But once I got them installed, they proved me completely wrong. Soft, inviting glow. Not blinding, just enough to add warmth and ambiance. Decent for distant (subjective) lighting – Lights up dark spaces without feeling harsh. Stylish, subtle design – Despite being small, these actually make the fence look amazing. The Fence Glow-Up At first, I was worried they wouldn’t make much of a difference, but now? My backyard fence looks like a scene out of a Pinterest-worthy outdoor setup. The downward-lit effect makes it both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Whether you’re relaxing on the patio or just need to see where you’re walking, these lights do the trick. Installation? Ridiculously easy. Zip ties, screws (my choice), or double-sided tape, just pick your method and call it a day. Final Thoughts Would I have liked them to be a little bigger? Sure. But am I impressed with how well they perform despite their compact size? Absolutely. If you want sleek, stylish, effortless outdoor lighting, grab these ASAP. Just pay attention to the size specs before ordering just so you don’t have the same "Wait…that's it?" moment I did.

These are just beautiful. The colors change so smoothly and are just awesome. The lights look great from the road and really add some jazz to our front yard. They are solar so super easy to assemble and install quickly. Since they're solar they don't last all night long but, long enough for me to enjoy before retiring for the evening. I enjoy them for the time they're on. They are really special. They're also a pretty sweet gift, I got a set for my Mom too and she loves them as much as I do. I leave them out all Seasons, I'm in Michigan and when the snow has fallen the pattern and colors these lights put out is really awesome! I'll try to add the video but, they're cool, I'd buy again and probably will buy more for the backyard too...

I just received these this evening. I put them out in our backyard here in Florida and they look amazing! I will definitely be ordering more. They look so realistic. I would like some with longer poles on them if that is possible. Well worth the money spent!

I recently installed a solar patio light, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my backyard. The standout feature is its 50% light mode, which provides a soft, ambient glow that’s perfect for setting a cozy mood. When motion is detected, it instantly kicks into full power, brightly illuminating the area for enhanced security. Installation was super simple, requiring just a few screws, and it mounted effortlessly onto my wooden fence. The brown housing blends beautifully with the wood. My only wish is for more control over the full-power duration. Currently, it stays at max strength for 20 seconds after motion activation, which is great, but I’d love the option to adjust it to different durations, like 30 or 60 seconds, for added flexibility. Despite this, the light’s functionality, easy setup, and stylish design make it a winner for anyone looking to enhance their patio.

It shippied on timely basis, however, it was missing the spikes for all 6 and only 2/6 cones had a solar light sent with them. Extremely disappointed. I tried to use the system to return or get a resolution but it was not allowing me to navigate through it easilt

Got 4 for my outside ares and they have stayed standing. 2 were bent but they still do the job. Took a mallet to get them in the ground but you can do it on your own

These solar lights are amazing! They’re bright, durable, and have held up perfectly in all weather conditions. Easy to install and the automatic on/off feature is a great touch. Definitely worth the purchase!

These solar lights are wonderful. They are easy to assemble, they are low profile and, great lighting(picture shows the lights on warm) . They have 2 settings cool white and warm white. We used clear vinyl silicone to keep them on our posts only because they fit right on top of our posts. Our trex vinyl posts are 4.5". With the multiple adapters that come with each light, it allows these lights to fit multiple posts. We used the 5" on our 4.5" posts. It overhangs by .5" but it looks like it's meant to. They look just like the plain caps I originally had on my posts only with light. I purchased the black ones. They are decent quality plastic and the clear plastic has a diffused look to filter the light perfectly. They do have a charging battery inside each light that you can change. Daylight right now is shorter so the lights start on until around 10-11pm. I've only had them for a week but so far I love them. When you want to change the battery or the light setting, you don't have to take the whole light off as it twists off and the base remains on the post. Ease of use. I recommend this product. 4 stars only cause I haven't had them very long.
