I love them. The trick is to not get carried away with adding too many. Blend them in with real plants/flowers
This solar light is a solid addition to our backyard. It’s got a beautiful design, feels sturdy and well-built, and gives off a really warm glow for about 6 to 7 hours each night. It’s strong enough to be noticed but not overpowering—perfect for creating a cozy, relaxing vibe. What really impressed me was the customer service. I had a small issue, and they responded quickly and took care of it without hassle. That alone made the higher price tag feel a lot more worth it. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than some other options out there, but honestly, the quality and service make it a smart buy. I’d definitely recommend it.
Really did not expect these stick on solar lights to be that good, Wow, they are Great!! So easy to install and the positions I put them on my steps are perfect on my deck going down to the lake, no more wondering if I will miss a step!
This lamp is of really good quality, and it is also very bright. It shines on my backyard very well. I like it very much.
4/9 update - contacted the support email and received a quick response on the need for the different remote. Older (white plastic) version will be sent free of charge as newer version is missing the timer function I needed. Great service and support experience. For the light itself - it puts out a serious amount of light on full power, very pleased with output. The light can be dimmed to 10% of full power, which is great for conserving power. The battery capacity is also very good, I've seen that the light can stay on all night in reduced power mode - not sure how long it lasts on full power but it is at least 5 hours! For version JAYNLT Y-9800W - the remote control (white) shown visually and written in product description is different from the remote control (black) that I received. Product description remote has ability to limit lighting time to 3HR, 5HR, 8HR. Remote I received does not have those buttons. So, light is by default on from dawn to dusk - can't be set to less time and is bright enough on low setting to disturb neighboring houses in the middle of the night. I've sent seller support question if JAYNLT Y-9800W is compatible with white remote and can I get one sent? Will update this review if I get a response. Otherwise, will need to take this down off the 18' pole it is mounted on and return - with a huge waste of time and effort.
Replacing incandescent eave lighting on the house with LED. Had prior bad experiences with other half baked products with LED bulbs failing due to inadequate cooling, motion detector problems, lights coming on in daytime, etc. This product does not appear to have those problems so far. The LED's are out there so they stay cool, The circuit board looks like it is high quality (see photo). If any moisture got in here I don't see it shorting out. If mounted under an eave, there is enough gap at the light heads mountings that any water would drain out. Nothing much to rust here since it is mostly plastic. The motion detector has not falsed. The lights don't go on during the daytime. There is the usual switch flip method to over-ride the motion detector to turn them on if you need them on at night. Well packaged. Clear instructions. Well executed. Good price. Includes gasket, all screws, mounting plate, nuts - basically everything needed to install. I only bought one at first since it was unclear from the photos whether under-eave mounting (as opposed to on a vertical wall) would let me angle everything properly. This method works fine and will be ordering more. Very bright. Packaging instructions state that these are not waterproof and only OK for mild dampness but the npcpsolar.com product description says Waterproof. We will see long-term but I expect these to last.
3 out of 8 light sets are DOA, even all were charged at the same time & at the same area. Contacted npcpsolar.com and get a replacement setting up quickly. Hope they work better.
I have owned many of this type of solar motion lights. This 2-pack is relatively small at just 4.25" width. It has a lot of LEDs, but it does not mean more LEDs = brighter. Mounting screws are provided. Operating options: 1. Always on, 2, dim, turns bright when motion detected, 3. off, turns bright when motion detected. The high brightness is quite good for a solar motion light this small, and it stays on for 30 seconds. There is a drawback with this wedge design. The solar light works best when installed on South-facing wall or surface. It receives the most amount of light during the day and produces longer illumination at dark. West and East facing wall are second best, and North facing wall is the worst placement. When daytime gets shorter, the light's solar panel gets lesser sunlight, and charges the battery less. I prefer the solar motion lights with adjustable solar panel that can always be angle toward the South. However, this 2-pac lights are ok for my South and East facing walls for now.
Love these solar lights!!! We at first ordered a different brand but had to send them back because they were too dim. These work perfectly on our gazebo and the right amount if light! Also liked the option for usb charging.
Me gusta como quedan en mi jardín
I did a lot of research trying to find the right solar lights for a very dark walkway to my new house and that research lead me to these dock lights. They are stunning! I'm super satisfied with the low profile (I was worried) and the warm light that they emit. This fairly cheap purchase dramatically increased the curb appeal of my house and made walking at night to the trash can much safer! The were very easy to install if you have a drill (could use adhesive as well). They feel and look very sturdy. I'm very excited to have these and looking forward to testing their longevity
I put these initially in the flower beds but the bricks were too high and the light projection wasn’t high enough so I angled them toward the house and tah dah ! It looks really nice. 2 of them do not work but I had enough in the end. Good product, hope they last a long time.
I wanted to have lighting in different area's of my yard & garden. I usually do solar lighting since it's more convenient and no power source is needed. This came onto my npcpsolar.com Vine feed so I ordered it. Note: I have been invited by npcpsolar.com to take part in the npcpsolar.com Vine program & I take that very seriously. I order products I am interested in, try them out and give my honest review on that product. I am not paid in any way by npcpsolar.com or the sellers for my reviews. Since I am an npcpsolar.com customer as well, I provide as much detail as possible for other customers in order to help make an informed decision on the products. I do not recommend products I myself wouldn't use. I received this light a few days ago and only got around to putting it outside yesterday afternoon. When darkness arrived, this light turned on and I was amazed at how bright it is. It illuminated my entire garden at the back of my property. It actually stayed illuminated until dawn this morning. The solar panel is quite large. Larger than any solar panel I've seen on landscape or flood lights. It can be mounted on a wall or in the ground although you'll need to purchase hardware to mount on the wall. I only ever intended this to be landscape lighting so I inserted it in the ground. This light would be great as a spotlight, landscape lighting or lighting to line the driveway or walkway. It's bright and offers 3 different color modes. Warm, cool & natural. It was easy to set up, put in the ground and let it do it's thing. I may actually buy the mounting hardware so I can put it on the house to illuminate a dark area of the driveway. This light is well made and seems as if it would hold up to the elements Jersey weather has to offer. I am actually pretty impressed with this light. So much so that I may order another one or three. Highly recommend.
These solar delphinium flower lights are a wonderful addition to my garden! During the day, they add a nice pop of color, looking like real flowers among my plants. At night, they truly shine—literally! The lights are very bright, much more so than I expected, which makes them stand out beautifully in the yard. I like that there are two lighting modes, giving me some variety in how they display. The 240 LEDs really make a difference, creating a lovely glowing effect that makes my garden look magical after sunset. The solar panels work well, and I’ve had no issues with them charging throughout the day, even on slightly cloudy days. They are easy to set up—just stake them into the ground, and they’re good to go. The waterproof feature is a plus since I don’t have to worry about bringing them in when it rains. They seem sturdy, and I hope they last a long time. Overall, I’m really happy with these and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for unique and colorful garden lighting.
I’m always going to promote solar operated lighting because it’s simple, free, and good for the planet! Sometimes solar lights are constructed more significantly solidly than others. These solar spotlights fall under that category. The solar spot lights come in a pack of 4 and are really well-constructed. The plastic parts are solid and thick. The solar panels appear to be of high quality. Each light has 3 lighting modes and are waterproof. They can be staked into the ground, or affixed to walls. I like that they can be adjusted for location of their illumination. It’s important that these and other solar products have exposure to full sunlight for their highest performance. I’m going to place these spotlights in my backyard affixed to the backside of my garage where they’ll get an easterly exposure and I need that extra lighting. The lights stay on for about 6-7 hours on the brightest setting. I’m a fan of the spotlights! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
