Landscaping Looks Beautiful
Cool light that meets my needs. I use this light to light up my walkway when the porch light isn't on in order to find the right key to enter my house. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but will recommend.
Where can I truly begin. Well let me start from the beginning. So i bought 2 to put in my back yard which I placed on the dusk to dawn feature and they worked without fail. So I then decided to buy 4 more to put on my my house which I recently installed. I am extremely satisfied and plan on get 2 more. Amazing product which will undoubtedly lessen my energy consumption and by extension my utility bill while providing constant lighting and security to my premises. You won’t regret the purchase, I certainly have not.
Truly awesome product (all 3 light fixtures), solidly built, bright enough to light up the entire yard plus the street, easy to install, easy to operate, turns on automatically to 100% (from 25% sleep state) when motion-detection sensor trigger upon person/object approaching, no hard-wiring involved, all accessories included, plus easy installation instructions, safe and fast delivery by npcpsolar.com-Prime, totally powered by the Sun, and kicks on after dusk, stays lit all night long, bright enough to deter any and all intruders, neighbors love it too, highly recommend this product to all homeowners and business/property owners.
The street lights provide excellent light at night. Great alternative to power company street lights that are charged on a monthly fee. It gives two options for sensor lighting: Dim light all night until motion is detected for bright or "off" until motion is detected. The screws provided with the kit could be better. I ended up using better screws for mounting that I already had. The screws that hold the light to the mounting pole would not stay in which made me use larger screws for that hole as well. Over all, I would say it is an excellent solar light if you have better mounting hardware laying around to use. One thing to be aware of, there are different modes and I was initially confused as the light seemed to not be so bright. I had it on low percent and when I stepped up to it, the motion detector went off and gave full brightness, and it was bright! Great lights, worth the price since its a four pack.
The lights were well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. While the stake points and vertical tubes are made from metal the actual light assemblies are plastic. The aesthetics are simple, they blend in and remain mostly unnoticed unless on. Assembly and setup is easy, I'll admit to not reading the instructions. The metal tubes plug into the light and stake points, just press with a little force. There are two settings for the lights, both are done with switches (covered in a rubber boot to protect from water) that move to labeled values. The first switch selects from three light temperatures. The other switch chooses the radio channel, which makes linking a one step process. Any lights on the same channel will be linked (that's it, extremely simple). After setup, press the lights into the ground where-ever you want. Like assembly this requires no tools just a little force. Be sure to remove the protective film from the solar panels to produce maximum charge. Once it is dark, the lamps will all continuously emit a low light. The motion sensors pick up movement from around ten feet out. When one light senses movement, all of the lights on the same channel increase the amount of light emitted to light up the entire path.
The solar barn light by Fashionoda, is a cute and functional idea that’s small, but really versatile. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – Its good quality, but not great. I would put in the upper-middle level of the quality scale, and guess that’s its built good enough to withstand the elements for a few seasons. II. Usability – Its very functional in a smaller capacity. Your always limited to some degree with a solar powered light and this is a small version. You therefor don’t get real bright light from it, but it does come on at dark and provide a nice mellow light. The biggest advantage is that it can go anywhere being self-contained without needing to run power. Its smaller than I expected, but they pulled off the aged look quite well and it look great (see my included video). Overall, I’m very pleased with this choice and what it has brought to my yard. It looks nice and its always on every night helping to keep away the things that go bump in the night. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems. If you’d find it helpful to see a close-up visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.
Update: After having this for some time, I realized it’s just OK. Battery life isn’t so great since it’s on the whole time and not sensored. It only last about more or less 4 hours the most which isn’t very much. Original review: It’s what I needed. It’s small and not overly bright, but enough to light up the front entrance to see the pathway at night. Love that isn’t solar and slanted. Doesn’t turn on until there’s really no more sun ray detected which probably helps with battery conservation and consumption. I dislike how it was not an easy install on my gutter. It was either the space was too narrow or way too wide. Plus the screw that tightens is too short to actually hold it in place to the gutter. Had to improvise with putting chopstick to fill the space. I just hope it holds. Also, the metal pieces are pretty flimsy and easily bendable that the pain chipped when bent — I hope that lasts too. It’s lightweight, and doesn’t weight down the gutter. The material is mostly plastic other than thin metal holding it and the screw. I like it. I just hope it last me a few years. Might buy more like these for the back yard or something in the future.
I was very skeptical but the low price made me try and I'm so happy with the product. It was working right out of the box, very nice decoration in my window for now. I'll move it outside when it gets warmer. Thanks.
It works great. Bright enough on Dim mode to see slightly around it. Bright once motion is detected. I put two of them up at the front driveway gate with one on both sides of the gate. Makes it nice to have some light at the street/gate area. Installation suggestions: Suggestion 1) Do not turn it on (button under the solar panel) until it is charged in bright sunlight for 5 or more hours. If cloudy, please charge a 2nd day or two. Do not push the button at all, until it has been installed and charged by the sun. Suggestion 2) Install the base first if installing it to a wall or wooden post otherwise you can not get your screwdriver on the two base's screws because the main device is in the way (install the base to your wall or post first). Suggestion 3) Do not push the power button at all until it has been fully charged at least 5 sunny hours, but only push it once to set it to DIM at night, BRIGHT upon motion detected (bright on for 30 seconds). They give you two extra screws: one extra base screw to the wall/post AND also one extra screw that holds the base to the main device. That is nice incase you drop one. PICTURES: Two lights Bright and then also on Dim in my back yard. Three lights on Bright in the front yard.
Wow!!!! Super impressed first day out of the box. Super bright. Several color options. But the don't random change color. You have to press the button for each color including warm and cool white.
Looks great and is a bit bigger than I had anticipated at 10" square and right at about 12" tall. Very nice looking and the structure of it is solid, not at all flimsy. It does add a very nice decor touch in an outdoor setting. The lamp arrived packed extremely well, however was surprised that pretty detailed assembly was required. The very brief instructions are included (pictured). You begin by placing the glass into each of the four side frames with four tiny screws and brackets for each panel. Not hard, but finicky. After that, you assemble the four walls of the lamp, this time with marginally larger screws and attach the base. At this point forward, the directions really don't offer much in the way of understanding how to wire it, how to install the top onto the frame or what to do with the four large bolts provided. Included with my picture of the instructions is the remote - along with all the parts I haven't found what to do with yet! Additionally, there is what appears to be a standard light socket to be wired at the base, not sure why, but fortunately the solar LED light (pictured) inside the top works perfectly well, so I will fiddle with the rest of it esp. attaching the top securely and see if I can figure it out because I do like the light very much.
I will recommend to my friends and family
Easy to setup, very bright and have multi function, with motion detection and on dime it works right true the night. Battery life is amazing great product value for your money. 😉
This solar outdoor wall light is gorgeous wall sconce. I love the timeless old-world design of the sconce. This is a very high quality, durable sconce. It has a sturdy die cast aluminum metal frame and glass panes. It came fully assembled, save for the need to mount it and put in the light bulb. I appreciate that you can change the light bulb easily because the bottom of the lamp is open. I charged the sconce in full sun for a full day. The sconce was on my covered deck and not exposed to sunlight before I was able to get back to it to test it. Still after a few days of not being charged, the light went on and stayed on inside the house until about 3:30 am when I woke up in the middle of the night. I am not sure how much longer through the night the light stayed lit. I was surprised the charge held up so well under the conditions of being out of sunlight for so long. To test it, I had the sconce in my kitchen. It turned on automatically when the lights in the room were turned off. The sconce provided a nice soft light that allowed ample light for me to see in the kitchen without turning on another light source. When I ordered the sconce, I moved rather quickly, and I didn't notice this is a combination solar and hard wire light. I will be mounting the light near my front door and at this time I don't have electrical wired to this outdoor area of my home. It works out perfectly because this light can be powered with solar without the need to hardwire it. In sum, this solar sconce is a truly attractive, high quality outdoor wall light. I really love this solar outdoor wall sconce, and I highly recommend it.
