I love these lights. The picture doesn't do it justice at all. It was such a cloudy day and they were still extremely bright!!

These lights were easy to assemble. They enhance the area they occupy. I needed light along the house for folks leaving my fire pit area at the back. These are perfect! I was looking to lighten a very dark area. I’m HAPPY with this purchase & would buy them again.

I've never been a bright lights/big city kind of person. I'm into low key lighting. Dim lights or candlelight in my home, 60 watt incandescents in the garden area. Have a stockpile which will likely outlive me. When the sun went down, I was really surprised at how well this sign light meshed with my garden lighting. It's marketed as 6000K which actually exceeds bright daylight. Perhaps it's the way I installed it and the way the LEDs are spaced but this area of the grounds now has a chiaroscuro (light/shadow) vibe. Very cool but not cool white like I thought it would be. If you are big on security or a scaredy cat when it comes to darkness, you might not like the amount of light it provides. If, on the other hand, you want just enough light to be able to see where you are walking without recreating a superstore parking lot look than this may be doorway lighting to consider. It's functional rather than decorative but doesn't look like commercial equipment. Install is easy. Only thing that may present a problem is that you will need a #00 or #000 size Phillips screwdriver bit to install the 4 tiny screws that hold the long metal brackets to the body of the light. You might have these in your set of screwdrivers you use for electronic equipment tasks. You will however also need some strength to screw these tiny screws into the plastic which is not threaded. If your screwdriver handle is very small diameter, you may have difficulty providing enough torque to start the screws making their own thread in the plastic. It requires pushing and turning at once. I have a workaround for this, but you probably won't have what I have in your medicine cabinet. You need Vet Wrap (cohesive bandage). It's sold at farm and ranch stores to bandage animals (non-sterile) or at surgical supply houses to bandage humans (sterile). npcpsolar.com also sells it but not by the single roll. You wrap your screwdriver handle with enough wraps to give you the purchase you need to turn the tool. Vet Wrap has lots of other uses so it's good to have a roll available for other workarounds. Comes in fantastically vibrant colors so you can also do all kinds of creative projects with your human children. I use it to repair dog toys, but I digress.

Love these lights. So easy to install and very bright! They are a little difficult to untangle out of the package, but once they are untangled, they are very easy to install, and each package will cover about 20 feet. I hope they hold up!

I had looked at these lights as a possibility for our back yard illumination. I received a npcpsolar.com lightning deal alert and decided to buy them. They were easy to assemble by turning two thumb screws, one to extend the solar panel, and the second to adjust the light height. They have a sturdy feel and when we went outside to look at them after dark we were amazed at the amount of light even on the low setting. They last all night long and we left them on the low setting. Highly recommend them! I have purchased six sets of these lights for a total of 24 lights. I have had them under constant use at two locations. At our cabin in Idyllwild, California at 6,200 ft elevation, and subject to lingering winter snow, we have 6 deployed. At our home in Banning, California at 2,500 ft elevation, we have 18 deployed. They were first unboxed and installed in June 2000. They have worked consistently. In that time only one has failed and Nekteck replaced it! They have been subject to rain, sprinkler system overspray, and 2-4 feet of snow for days at a time. I would say they are a great value and we are very happy with them!

These poles were used to support some lights for the backyard around the fire pit. The poles were easy to put together and fairly sturdy once in the ground. Over time I did notice they wanted to fall towards one side or the other from the string lights pulling them. A simple repositioning in the ground took care of the issue. Overall I am happy with them and makes the look I was trying to achieve. They did withstand a hurricane and have held up well in rainstorms through the summer so I would consider them to be waterproof.

I had planned on using these to work outside, but actually they are not bright enough for that. However they work great for finishing cleaning up just as the sunlight is fading. I have only put one up, which was very easy to install, and with the provided mounting plate, they can be dismounted for any reason. Possibly moved around, but that would require extra mounting hardware. The movement sensor is ok. The included remote control is weak, only working when you are within one feet of the light. Maybe new batteries? It has three different brightness settings. And I believe there's a setting for always on, which is nice if you plan to place it where you hang out at night. Two in the box, which is a nice deal.

The only motion sensor and solar lights I could find. I only knock off one star because one of the lights didn’t work out of the box despite charging and changing the settings. But I only needed 3 anyway (comes with 4) I did not screw them in, just set down. They are definitely waterproof. I put an orange photo gel over one that I use indoor, but they are definitely more yellow than flood lights so better for your eyes at night. I use the setting where they are completely off and only turn on when motion is detected. Saves batteries. No problems with battery life or solar capabilities, keep them in a partly shady walkway.

These are two lights. With one panel. Very easy to hook up. Exactly what we needed. Used them to restore my Grandparents light house. Very bright. Very easy to install.

This soksr light is super good and durable, it's the second one I bought, the first one I passed the hard test on until dawn.

I bought and installed these a month ago. We live in rural western Pennsylvania, not known for high levels of sunlight, especially this time of year. I have them set to the lowest setting, shining on a flag attached to our front porch with the top of the pole a little over 9' in the air. The lights are about five feet on either side of the pole and provide a nice level of illumination in our setting where there is very little artificial outdoor light. After a good day of sunshine, they're still shining brightly before daybreak.

Ordered 2 10paks. in April and set them out in mid May,they looked good and worked well. End of May and through June we got a lot of rain (4.5 in. is a lot for N.E.Wyoming),starting after the first rain water leaked by the solar panels (on top of lights) and filled the inner tube/chamber where the LED is housed with water. Don't think there is any need to say that water is not good for the electrical components of the lights,12 of the 20 are now dead... Rest in peace..... * UPDATE* Less than 4hrs. after this review the seller contacted me by phone (I was not home at the time) and than by e-mail to give me a full refund and replacement lights. Can't remember when I ever had more prompt or better customer service. I am impressed and would be glad to do business with "Garden Joy" again. A solid *5 Stars* for customer services.... Update.... 7/20/15..... After my initial review and problems with these lights Garden Joy contacted me just hours after the review and (without me requesting it) gave me a full refund, and replaced the 2 10pks. at no cost. WOW,now that's almost unheard of customer service/satisfaction... They did send me a box (pre-paid postage) and asked if I could please send back 5 of the lights so they could discover the problem and fix it. The new lights are working perfectly (have not had the same heavy rain conditions again) and look good. On the fact of customer satisfaction alone I would give them "6 stars", can honestly say that I've never seen any business try harder to keep the customer happy... I would differently buy from "Garden Joy" again......

My first set came without the iron mounting plates. I returned them and received a replacement set which had what I needed to install them. Pros: I wasn't sure how I felt about the design being just a plastic frame but once we installed them I was more impressed with their simplicity. The installation is very easy. The iron mounting plates are attached first and the lights slide down over the plate. I find the light to be ample for what we need. Both lights are positioned on our back deck railing and when triggered into the bright mode with motion they light up the whole deck adequately. Cons: The modes are not intuitive but after investigating the listing for information on the working of the modes I was able to understand and work them. My package was missing instructions on how to work them. Overall: A simple design but creates a nice ambiance when activated. I do recommend them.

I bought these a year ago, and left them outside the entire time. They survived a typical Central California summer and winter with no issues. They look great, they seem to be long lasting, and I think they’re pretty awesome. I will add that the pole is a bit flimsy, but that’s easily fixed with a piece of pipe. I’ll definitely be buying more of these.
