Super cute lights. But they stand all straight up together. And don’t really bloom out as pictured. Maybe over time they will.

I got this 2-pack of lights to go along with a 4-pack of the same brand/type of torches. The lights look great and function well, but just like the 4-pack, these lights are not as tall as described. They are advertised as being 43 inches tall, but that’s not the case. Fully assembled, the torches are 31 inches from the tip of the stake to the end of the light. When the stake is in the ground, the torches are only 24 inches in height. The lights are easy to assemble and very sturdy. And even though the torches aren’t as tall as described, they are perfect for our needs. This would have been a 5-star review if the description would have matched the product.

Have used these for years. Got a replacement for broken one. Does not give soft diffused light but instead a weird checkerboard pattern of LEDs. Returning. Update: got another set and same problem. Returning.

These are worth the extra cost. The window lights are made of real glass and the caps are coated metal. The remainder of the product is made of plastic. The downward lights are nice and they light up the floor of the deck enough to see where you are walking. The top light provides just the right amount of light, not too weak and not too strong. These do not feel cheap and the metal cap makes them feel sturdier than the all plastic ones. They are not cheap overseas junk and are well made in CanadaThe customer service line is included in the instruction sheet. The light mechanism appears to be replaceable if the lights go bad by simple taking the light mechanism out and putting in new parts. It has a good design and does not look cheap. Installation can be done from the side but I chose to drill new holes in the bottom of the inside (had to disassemble to add holes) and attached them with Deckmate screws directly into the 4"x4" posts under the Timbertech post sleeves. There are 4 post adapters and one of them does perfectly fit the Timbertech Evolutions Rail post covers (nearly impossible to find).

UPDATED - I thought it was the best one but after a week, it stopped working. RETURN! I bought 3 solar lights from this brand (not cheap), the other 2 are wall lanterns for my garage. 2 lanterns are not working good as 2nd day light out I returned. This one came last and put on top of my shed, since it's vinyl I had to use a hook to hang so it's crooked but it is working perfect. Give enough light to the front of shed and detect motion is great. Recommend.

Do not light up anything. Housing sits 2" off the ground and makes tripping hazard. Unable to install flush as advertised. Stakes broke immediately. What a joke!!! Produce about 5" light, which is worthless.

Not super bright but creates a good effect regardless. The brightness is enough to light up the leaves pretty high up. I got a Home Depot Hampton bay spot light solar after this one (double the price). It was brighter overall but for some reason did not do a good job lighting up a second floor tall tree compared to this one. So I took that back and kept this one instead. I got two other brands where the solar panel is on top of the light (so, 4 different brands total I tried). This works best for trees or shaded areas where the solar panel needs to have distance from the light.

Update to 5 star. 1 light was defective. However customer support from the email on the warrantee card wrote back and offered a partial refund for the light that was defective or to send a new one. I find the product works as described and easy to install. Unfortunately I was unable to wait for a new light so I took a partial refund. The lights were for my children's house. They liked them so much that I decided to order another set and used the extras to put around the back of the house.

Lights are really cute. I like the smaller size. They’re about the size of a ping-pong ball. The solar panels work really well. I like that. They have a remote, although I’ve never actually used it. I really like that the solar panel is in the middle, and there’s a strand of lights going each direction, or you could double them up, if you would like. I will say that the lights are not very bright, and more of ambient mood lighting. If you want to use them to actually be able to see some thing, you really need to double up if not triple up the strands. While camping I used both strands on the inside of a 10 x 10 canopy and it was bright enough to see everything, but not bright enough to play cards. In my photos, I have one set, which is one solar panel, and two strands, going down the sides of a wooden bridge that’s approximately 25 feet. They lit up the bridge well enough to be able to see in that trip and looked really cute. In my photos, I have one set, which is one solar panel, and two strands, going down the sides of a wooden bridge that’s approximately 25 feet. They lit up the bridge well enough to be able to see, not trip, and looked really cute. The nice thing about the two separate strands is that they can go separate ways, such as with this wooden bridge. The solar panel is on one side of the bridge, and we were able to run a stand underneath the bridge to the other side so they could each go down one side of the bridge. Overall, I would buy these again. I, as a self-proclaimed penny pincher, feel the price of $45 was OK, not a great deal, just ok.

I replaced previous 2 Panasonic solar lights after 2 years of service. They were about the same size, when one detected motion it and the other one went into bright mode for about 1 minute before reverting back to low light mode. I liked the linked mode feature on these and they look and feel well made. But, after letting them soak up the sun for 3-4 days I put them up and all of them looked good and the linked feature worked well. The problem is they didn't stay on very long, maybe 3 hours. So, I turned all of them off and let them soak up 3-4 more days thinking this would surely charge the batteries enough to last most of the night, NO that didn't work either. So, I took all of them down and I'm letting them charge on a bench facing the SUN directly for the next 3-4 days, if this doesn't work I'll be returning them. An even bigger problem is I gave them as Christmas gifts too, I now regret doing that! I would think a company that makes these would ensure they have quality batteries to install in them. Until they resolve the battery problem I would avoid purchasing from this company. Dated 01-04-2025

I used these as cockpit lights November 2023 through June 2024 on a sailboat cruising the Caribbean, hanging them when I'd drop anchor and then stuffing them in a locker while underway. They took a lot of abuse, but all but three of the led lights were still illuminating at the end of the season. The solar panel was sufficient to charge the battery on sunny days, and usb charging was quick and effective on rainy days. Lights are bright enough to meet all my cockpit lighting needs for dining and even reading, and visible enough to act as supplemental marker lights in dark anchorages. Purchasing another set for the coming season.

Bought these in May 2020 and they are going strong nearly five years later! I’m so impressed with the long lasting quality. I haven’t even changed the batteries in them and they still look as bright and flickery as they did brand new.

Beautiful on our fence

OK, I know you may think these are a little expensive but hear me out. These solar pathway lights were offered to me through the npcpsolar.com Vine program. Note: I have been invited by npcpsolar.com to take part in the npcpsolar.com Vine program & I take that very seriously. I order products I am interested in, try them out and give my honest review on that product. I am not paid in any way by npcpsolar.com or the sellers for my reviews. Since I am an npcpsolar.com customer as well, I provide as much detail as possible for other customers in order to help make an informed decision on the products. I do not recommend products I myself wouldn't use. At the time of ordering, I did not notice the price, I just ordered. I received them a few days later and finally had a few minutes to check them out. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with this set. I thought it would be like most cheap solar pathway lights that you buy from big box stores but let me assure you, that is not what these are. Heavy duty is the first word that comes to mind. They are on the heavier side. They aren't made from that cheap plastic we've all come to know. They are easy to turn on. The power button is on the bottom of the solar panel so you don't have to fight to get the top off. Since the top doesn't come off, there's less of a chance that water can get in and corrode the battery. At least that's my thought. They were easy to set up. Insert the stakes into the pole and the pole into the bottom of the light. Remove the plastic from the solar panel, turn on and insert into the ground. The solar part of light is pretty big and therefore, will take on more power. I did try one inside and they seemed pretty bright. They did come charged so I was able to test them out. I haven't set them up yet though. I still have to clean my flower beds and walkway. I only put 1 outside to take pics and see how it would look. I am leaving it out there to see how bright it is at night. I'll just move it when I want to clean the flower bed and put it back when I'm done along with the rest of them. The price as I mentioned above is a little expensive. I think they were just under $70 but let me tell you, they are worth it. I will be putting them in my backyard rather than the walkway in the front. This was a pack of 8 so it's not enough to line my walkway. Then again, I may use them by the walkway and spread them out and use something else in between. I'll make that determination when I'm ready for it. I am extremely happy with this solar pathway lights and definitely recommend. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

So far so good, just put them up today. We love the different modes it has. It’s a bonus that not only is a solar powered but you also have to option to charge the panel.
