I thought I would try these because I needed to add some addition lighting to my very dark yard. These came very quickly. They appeared to be well constructed out of the box. Upon further inspection I noticed that the body of the stake was made of plastic instead of the metal I am accustomed to. They instruction were very easy to follow, and installation was a breeze.
At nightfall they illuminated my yard with lighting that looked like a flame torch. I thought it added a very nice decorative touch to my yard. They don’t give of as much light as I would have preferred but the flame effect is cool. I am not sure how long they will last but for now my yard looks a bit better than it did prior to the installation of these lights.

You get 8 of these LED faux tiki torches in this set. They aren’t real super bright, but that’s ok. They have a seriously chill vibe about them, and they make the area seem immediately more relaxing when they turn on. They automatically switch on when it gets dark, as long as they got enough sunlight that day, and they switch themselves off when the sun comes up. They sort of softly flicker to imitate flames, and the “cage” features a stylish design that appears as a silhouette when they light up. You can see it in the daylight also, but it’s not as cool as when it’s lit. Tiki torches are smoky and smelly, and they blow through a ton of expensive lamp oil, so these solar LEDs are a nice alternative. Not as much light, but debatably nicer looking, and much cheaper, especially in the long run. I don’t like how these only come with a short pole though. They’re only about half as tall as a regular tiki torch, which is a significant downside. They could have at least included a second pole, that way you could have chosen the option to leave them as they are, or go taller, like a regular tiki torch. Alas, they did not. They are virtually maintenance free though, so no need to ever mess with them again once you find a good spot for them.
