I had put these solar lights in my garden in late November, for the holiday season. They give a soft, warm amber glow and it looks like shrubs that are softly lit up—beautiful at night, especially with snow. They’re easy to set up and use and they’re solar, so no batteries to mess with. They do not get enough light in the dead of winter to stay lit all night, but they do come on at dusk and stay on for a few hours. The one thing I didn’t realize when I bought them is that it is three lights on a single string and solar battery, so you cannot separate them widely—they need to be placed in a short row or circle. I wish each one was separate so I would have had more flexibility to place them in different spots. But they’re still very pretty and nice overall in my winter garden.
