   The images in the npcpsolar.com description are confusing as you just don’t often mount it the way shown (as a teepee or triangle with air underneath). You mount it flush with a corner of wood or metal (usually wood). With that in mind, this Intelamp folding outdoor solar light (npcpsolar.com ASIN B0D7M8RPZB) is handy under the circumstances where you want to mount it onto a south-facing corner that gets plenty of sunlight from above, and where you want to illuminate the area to the side and below. (If it matters, when mounting, the screw holes to drill will be exactly 90mm (3-1/2 inches) apart.) With a stated 4000mAh battery, the 1300LM (aka 1,300 lumens) is bright enough, but I’d take the 270 degrees of light with a grain of salt because you have to match the mounting to the beam you’re mounting it to, where you can see from the attached photos that the light angles are slight on the two sides. Note that the motion sensors are on those two slightly beveled side panels. The npcpsolar.com listing says the floodlight is IP65 Waterproof, which means Ingress Protection level 6 for solids and level 5 for liquids, which means it can withstand fine dust without penetration of that dust, and it can hold up against low-pressure water jets without penetration of that water.    Great for a fence line topper or off the eaves of your house. Versatile mounting options are a nice change from the usual solar lights I’ve seen. The large solar panel helps charge this thing up during the day so you can have bright light when you need it most. Easy install, couple screws and you’re ready to go.

   We use this as a security light on our campervan. We charge it up by placing it on the dashboard as we are driving. We unfold it and slip it on the 2 screws mounted above our campervan door. It’s a great feature that this Light folds up into a small space so you can easily move it from one location to another. It has 4 modes of operation: MODE 1: It is on at low brightness then when someone walks in front it goes to high brightness. After 30 sec of no movement it goes back to low brightness. MODE 2: Normal security light mode. It is off then turns to high brightness when someone walks in front. Then it turns off. MODE 3: low brightness all the time MODE 4: Is OFF mode. You toggle through the modes by pressing the mode button on the back of the light. We really like this solar light. It works great and is sold at a competitive price point.

   There are a few different ways to mount it. It’s nice and bright when it detects movement. There are a few different options for how it works too. The materials all feel really nice and sturdy. I have it mounted above my car so I get a little boost of light when I get to my car at night. Plus it will hopefully deter anyone looking to mess with my car.

   Very bright! Not too difficult to mount but I haven’t tried it on siding or brick/stone – mine is mounted to a fencepost. I have tested this multiple times as far as sensitivity and motion sensing capabilities. It detects motion even a fair distance away so you don’t have to be right underneath it to trigger it. I have had it on the motion sensor setting for a few months now and it has worked without fail every single night, even charging when it’s overcast.

   Overall this is a good light and functions as expected. I will probably get two more for the sides of my house.

   What a time in the world we live in now. This light is motion sensoring, solar-powered (talk about saving money on your power bill) and this helps not only keep intruders away, but adds some pretty light in the yard during those long nighttime hours. I love that it has various uses, it functions in different positioins, it is pretty heavy, but nothing terrible awful, and for all of those reasons this is a truely grand value for the purchase price.
