   Went out to look at the 1st one and light was out at 9 pm.

   Only 1 or the two are working. when I tried to get in touch with the company and warranty, no one to be found. npcpsolar.com gave me a $5 credit because I was past my 1 month return policy. I feel these are junk and probably wont last the year. I will be very choosy next time.

   I’ve bought about eight of these. This 2-light set is a replacement. The metal construction is great. The solar collector, not so much. It only goes in in one direction in about a 30 degree arch, so can’t really be set to aim at at the south, depending on where you have the light set. But the biggest thing is while the general construction is metal, the solar collector is attached with a thin plastic pedestal. Which our deer snapped off. Because it’s thin plastic. Then it didn’t collect ANY sun. I tried to glue it on, as the picture indicates, but no dice. So I order this set.. one to replace the broken one and a spare, because our deer are sure to knock off another one. I’ve been through a bunch of these and it’s really hard to find descent ones. This design is “better”, but still not great. They’d do a lot better by redesigning it to include a 360 degree solar panel pedestal made of metal. It’s always the weakest link that goes, and it’s this little pedestal on this guy.

   Well I had high hopes but the cheap $5 solar lights you can stick on provide better lighting. They look good, are very durable metal but provide next to no light. My entire home I have solar lights outside and these are the most disappointing solar lights I have purchased. I bought 6 sets of 2. Problems are the solar can only be set 1 way so you are stuck to use it with 1 direction so since you minimally need 2 spotlights per tree to aim these toward sun, you can’t. I tried using 1 and I have tons of direct sun but no luck. The 4 I kept, I literally took my $5 solar cheap lights and stuck them on top of the heavy duty metal to provide real solar light! Very sad product. I may just return the other 6 but, always feel bad returning something I opened. The solar panel on these also appear not very durable and scratched vs. other solar I have.

   I bought 2 sets of these to add a little light on my palm trees by the pool. They work just fine, keeping in mind I only wanted a subtle lighting. If you are looking for bright lighting, this is not the best option. They are easy to set up and are more durable than they look. I would buy them again.
