Our electrical box is soffit mounted and the previous floodlight was completely rusted out and broken. I couldn’t find many floodlights that were meant to be mounted like that. This one went on perfectly. It was easy to install and came with all of the hardware. It is far brighter than our previous light and you can rotate the lights and sensor to be anywhere you need. The light has different settings for brightness and how you want the sensor to work. I selected to just have it turn on and STAY ON when we turn the light on. This light overlooks our porch roof below so I was worried it would do as the last light did and catch the majority of the light on the roof not actually giving us any vision of the yard. However, the distance this light goes while still being bright is amazing. This light is a great value and I definitely recommend!

I installed the light, it only took me maybe 15 minutes, very straight forward. A typical connect black to black, white to white and ground to ground wire installation. Then there’s only one screw that’s need to fasten the fixture to the electrical junction box, unless you are doing it from scratch and installing a junction box.
Once the fixture is installed and you put it in test mode, it’s incredible! This thing turns my front yard into daytime. I live in rural area, no lights. I’m sure it could be seen from the Moon. LOL! I’m very impressed with the whole process from start to finish. Easy to install and as bright as day. There’s 4 working mode function settings, Test, Auto, On Time (Manual) and D2D (Dusk to Dawn). Then there is 3 control knob settings to set brightness, time and sensing range, they are labeled, Lux, Time and Range. It was very reasonably priced and totally worth it. You’re getting more than you paid for it, plus you never have to change the bulbs.

I bought two of these light sets for the back of my house and have used them for a couple of nights. I take my dog out at night and like the convenience of motion detectors. I bought the 25W version and they provide plenty of light. The motion detectors and setting controls for time and amount of light before the lights come on seem to work fine. The installation was pretty easy using the supplied parts. The quality of the product seems good and I feel pretty confident I will get a few years of use from these lights. I will likely fine tune the position of the lights and motion detectors, and the sensitivity levels, and appreciate that the lights offer a pretty good range of control over their use.

This product is superb, thanks to its somewhat unique design and great price. I’ve had to buy a number of such lights over the years, this one is the best so far, hands down. The price is amazing, but the features and the flexibility of the two lights make this a great choice. Most outdoor lights don’t have the range of motion of these two OLD ring lights. They can be positioned straight down, which is required these days by many HOAs. Or they can be rotated and angled into nearly any necessary position. It is easy to install, but my tip is to spend the extra few minutes to install the bracket that comes with the unit if you are replacing an older light. I didn’t, making the stupid assumption the screw would work, and it didn’t. So I had to start from scratch and remove the old bracket, and the new one with this unit worked perfectly. Great, step-less controls for light duration and sensitivity, plus a unique control over lumens, which doesn’t alter the output of the lights but rather allows control over the light’s ability to operate under ambient conditions at, say, dusk vs. Dark. Good looking, small, but very powerful. An excellent product.

I ordered this for replace a very old flood light for my backyard so that I can see when my dog goes out to do her business at night. I had tempered expectations when ordering this flood light but I can now tell you I am VERY impressed by the amount of light that this fixtures outputs. The amount of light is nothing but impressive and extends the amount of light at least 75% more then the previous flood light that I had installed. This fixture was also perfect for the unique mounting I had under the over hang from my roof. This was the perfect solution that not only mounted correctly, easily but also is mega bright! I would recommend not only this one that had one light light on each side but I know there are other options that has more lights on each side that would further extent its range.

I replaced three 10-year old cree led units with these. Bought three, two wall mount, one soffit mount, which are the same unit. The new one has a better motion sensor and literally lights up like the sun for half the price of the old ones. Only improvement I would want are shields to block portions of the light bleed. I made my own to keep the light out of my neighbours bedroom window and keep light off our hot tub when in use.

Excellent eave mountable light solution. Light comes with Sansi’s excellent mounting hardware kit….super simple to install.
I put this light up in 19° January winter weather….and it took about 20 minutes.
I set the LUX setting to the halfway point for AUTO Mode, timer halfway for approximately 5 minutes of illumination upon motion detection event, and the sensitivity at max setting.
As you can see by the attached video, the light detected my motion at about 160 degrees and approximatly 30 feet from the unit….
Light is bright (This is the 4000 lumen varient) and the left and right led light pods are extremely adjustable…..
I could not be happier with the initial performance. At this juncture, I highly recommend this motion sensing floodlight from Sansi.
