This Solar sconce looks great and works well overall. I love the sleek design and the three lighting modes, especially the motion-sensor option, which adds a layer of security without wasting power. It was super easy to install and has held up well through rain. That said, the light output is moderate—not super bright—and the motion sensor isn’t always the most sensitive unless you’re close. Also, make sure it gets plenty of direct sun or it might not last all night. Still, it’s a solid choice for porches, fences, or small entryways assuming well lit by solar light.

Was looking for smaller to medium motion sensor solar light for the side of our house that is always dark and there is no power outlet. We had one there that was great but had to trim our big oak tree and the guys no matter how careful they were with the huge branches broke it. We are Texas so there are all kind of creatures at night and I always have to bring a bright flashlight with me to scare them away. This solar light is the perfect size!!! I put it up on our tree so when I turn the corner it lights up automatically! It has 3 lighting modes
Mode 1: Dim to bright when motion detected at night.
Mode 2: Off to bright when motion detected at night.
Mode 3: Constant ON at night.
We chose mode 1 and it is super easy to switch between modes. What I like about it as well is that it has solar panels all around so not just one panel on top like most do. I highly recommend it!

I ordered this solar lamp for our back doorstep as a cost-effective night light for our general back yard and chicken coop area. Our ducks have no problem with the outdoor cats during the day, but at night I swear they act like there’s a racoon on the prowl! I’m hoping this lamp on Mode 1 setting will hope illuminate the space long enough for them to see the difference and chillax, so we don’t have to keep going into red alert constantly for no reason in the middle of the night! We have it mounted on the South side of the house on a SE facing wall with minimal roof overhang set to Mode 1 (Dim all night + Bright with movement for 15 sec). Hopefully it gets enough rays there to recharge on a daily basis. Its a nice little light, but it is plastic through and through all the way down to the window panes. I tried cleaning the panes with a soft paper towel and gentle glass cleaner after the install and it seems that’s all it took to leave abrasion marks on the surface of the plastic window panes! So, I recommend a soft cloth. It’s an okay fixture, but I think for the price I would rather get a more durable metal/glass type fixture for the house for long term. This might be better served elsewhere like a fence post, shed, garden area, chicken coop, swing set/play area for shorter term lighting and at a lower price point value-wise. Not sure how well the all plastic unit will fare in our brutal Florida sun, but I guess we’ll find out!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like this light. It turned out to be exactly what I needed! I got two of them and hung them on either side of a swing arbor in my garden and they add a perfect touch of illumination at night and unassuming good looks during the day. Yes, they’re made of plastic, but once they’re hung up they look like a much more expensive outdoor sconce. I love how the solar panel is discretely built in to the top of the sconce, so you really don’t notice it at all.
They are super lightweight and easy to install – just a couple of screws and you’re done. The motion sensor is surprisingly sensitive – it detects motion from as far away as my security “flood” lights do. But what I love the most is the quality of the light they give off. I keep them on the constant on setting, so they provide a wonderful warm glow to the surrounding area all night long. Even when the motion light comes on, it’s not *super* bright, it’s just bright enough. I’ve had no issues with them losing charge, even on overcast days. Overall I’m very happy with these lights and consider them well worth the price!

It is well made and a great quality. Is still working when I take the dog out early in the morning. This is really nice and classy looking. Will purchase another one!
