I purchased these for my outdoor deck that does not have any accessible plugs and they work great! I purchased separate “sticky hooks” (also from npcpsolar.com) to stick them to the wall and they have not fallen. The lights will only turn on at dusk when the sun sets, even if you manually try and turn them on via the button or remote. It is also nice that you can separately charge the solar panel, but I personally have not had to do that yet. The different brightness settings are also a nice option, however, I mostly use the brightest one given the bulbs are pretty far apart. I clipped my solar power panel to the outdoor coffee table and was able to pivot the panel in the direction where it would receive the most sunlight.
