I like these lights, and they look great on my back deck. I did struggle to assemble them, though. The bottom piece comes detached, and it’s frustrating to try to get it to fit into the lantern. I ended up having to hammer it into place, which bent the metal frame. Then you need to insert rubber stoppers to hold the base on place, but those don’t insert easily, either.
Despite the frustrating assembly, I’m enjoying the lanterns. It’s nice that they have a setting for either amber or white light. (I love the amber, myself.)

Five of the lanterns work perfectly. Look nice and bright. The sixth lantern is always very dim, even after charging in full sun. I’m not sure how to contact the seller to ask for a replacement. Other than the one dim lantern the product is great.

I am not rating on the durability of the lantern yet, I would have to wait longer, but as far as the lantern out of the package, it is very pretty, has a seasonal option of orange and white lights. The rubber seals to secure the bottom seal instead of a screw (that might get rusty, sometimes overlooked in these materials for outdoor stuff) is a sign of a thoughtful, quiet, wind/weather-proof design. I hope these lanterns last a long time.

These lanterns create a beautiful light pattern below them. We did need to purchase some “shepherd hooks” to hang them above the ground next to a walkway. Make sure you know where you are going to hang them because just setting them on a flat surface will not provide the full beauty of these lights. They have been working fine for several months including some heavy wind storms.
