   I was initially very happy with these lights, I liked the subtlety of the light, and they looked great on my new deck. However, after 2 months of use, as soon as fall hit ( I’m in the PNW ) they stopped working. I assumed lack of direct sun was the culprit and they would come back in the spring. Not ideal but it they were already out of warranty, so I decided to wait and see what happened this spring. Well fast forward to now and only one of the 10 that I originally installed is working, even after several weeks of good light. I reached out to npcpsolar.com for help on a credit but got no response. So now I’m looking for something better from a different retailer. Buyer beware, I would not recommend these lights

   Have had these up all summer exposed to the elements and no issues so far. They are sufficiently bright to add some accent lighting without being blinding. I always keep them on the warm white mode but have tried out the colours before. I actually really liked the RGB fade mode as all having 8 lights fade in and out while changing colours creates a nice ambiance if you have a party/get together.

   These lights add such a mood to your yard. If you want to allocate your yard, get these!! It took my husband about 30 min or less to install all 16 lights. Super easy!! These had a charge right out of the box. We have one of the ugliest yards ever, but these lights classed it up. As expensive as it can be to make yard updates, this is one of the most affordable things you can add to your yard to make a pretty impactful look! The only minor minus is they have to be manually set on each light. There is not a remote or app to control these, but there are two easy buttons to get them set and was no biggie.

   Got the 4 pack set and its done wonders in making my patio look fancier.

   The LEDS are bright and come in a variety of colours with a toggling RGB mode if that is your scheme. The lights are solar powered and easily charge up even if the day is relatively cloudy yet provided ample hours (easily exceeds 10 hours).

   Installation was quick and easy, just screw the mounting plate to your desired surface and slot on the LED lights. Ideally toggle your lighting modes/colour prior to mounting and you are ready to go.

   Inside the box were the 4 lights, 4 brackets, 6 sets of 2 screws & 2 anchors, and the user manual.

   The light goes straight down and there is no glass or plastic over the LEDs. Because they face down though, no rain should get on them. The lights are rated IP65 which means they are dust-proof and protected against vertically falling water, spraying & splashing water, and low-powered water jets.

   These are dusk to dawn lights, so if they do not work, try covering the solar panel / sensor so it thinks it is dark. Also for the same reason, they may not work outside if mounted too close to another light source.

   There is no remote with these lights. Everything is controlled by the two buttons on the bottom. One is the power button which is a bit stiff and needs a good press to turn the light on or off. The other is the mode button which is easy to press, and cycles through the various modes. The solid colours include white, red, green, blue, yellow-green, light blue, pink-purple, and warm white. There are also two flashing modes. One is called “RGB fade mode” or “RGB dimming” (depending where you are reading it). In this mode, each colour starts bright then dims, and then the next colour comes on. Each colour is on for about 3.7 seconds. The other mode is RGB flashing, which flashes each colour in turn for about 2.5 seconds each.

   The mounting base plate (bracket) is nice because you can mount the bracket and then just put on the light. You can then take off the light at any time, maybe to charge it in a better spot, or use it as a flashlight while outdoors, then place it back on the mount after.

   This is a nice set of 4 decorative solar lights for a fence or deck. When charged, they can also be used in an inside hallway. I was able to mount the brackets with 2-sided tape in my hallway, then charge them in the sunroom when the battery gets low.
   I like that I can choose the colour, as other fence light I have now are either just blue or a shade of white.

   I recently installed these lights and I love the way they look around our fence line. The warm white option is great. I had to buy new screws because the ones that came with the sets were poor quality and often broke during install. Also, for no apparent reason, a handful of the lights randomly don’t turn on some nights, even though during the day they receive the same amount of sun as the others. After resetting, they work but I wish I didn’t have manage them so often.

   Update: Very disappointed in these lights! They look great when they work, but after about a month they slowly gave out. This started in the summer when there was plenty of sunlight to charge the lights, so that’s not the issue. I’ve tried the tips suggested in “get product support” but nothing has helped. We have 32 lights and about 6 turn on each night. I wish I could get a refund.

    Ordered a package of 16 lights and one of them had a malfunction with one of the colors (white warm) in about 1.5 months. Reached out to customer service and, without asking any further questions, they sent right away not a lamp replacement but a package of 8 new lights. I didn’t even have to return the damaged one. That is over-the-top customer service. None of the other lights have had any issues more than 3 months later. The battery lasts more than 11 hours with a full change, just make sure that the solar panel receives plenty of direct sunlight during the day without any kind of shade.

    Ended up buying many extras as future backups. Love the ability to hide the light so you don’t stare at the light from a distance. Easy to change the colors and run for a 8hrs minimum
