I purchased a set of these summer 2024, and I am very pleased with them. I placed them in a location with mostly full sun and they manage to keep a charge and glow throughout the night into morning.
I kept them out over winter just to see how they did, and I’ve been impressed. Even with temperatures below freezing for sustained periods (sometimes wind chill below 0°F) they managed to come on every night.
They don’t really cast much light, but they are a great decoration. Very pleased with their look and performance.

Purchased August 23/22. Worked beautifully and brought in for winter couple of months later. Put back outside May 25/23 to charge.
After 4 days, none turned on. Messaged TomCare via npcpsolar.com May 29/23, June 5/23 and June 8/23. Gave to day end today for response. Have had the lanterns out in full sunlight since May 25/23. None work.
According to npcpsolar.com, sellers typically respond to messages within 2 business days. TomCare advertises in descriptions when purchased that items are warrantied for 12 months and to “purchase worry-free”. Not true. They have not responded.
