These are exactly what I was looking for. The price was right and the quality is excellent. I attached them to the brick steps on my front porch and they work great. I did need to use silicone adhesive to attach them because the brick were too porous for the tape to work. I expected that and it was called for in the instructions. You will have to order that product separately. I installed them over a week ago and they have worked perfectly since they were installed.

I bought these for my city patio. They work great. They provide a very nice ambient light. It absorbs enough sun light to keep them powered all night. They respond to shade were some will be on and some will turn off based on their position to light. I don’t use these for steps I use these to light my area and work for that purpose.

The battery life is great! These solar lights come on at dusk and stay on until they turn off at dawn. Our steps are 48” wide and I placed two on each step(one on each end) They provide perfect light for our front porch steps.
