This setup could not have been simpler, and I’m very happy with it. Only solar energy is used to power the light – I don’t need an electrical outlet and no messing with cords. In the daytime, it charges, and at night, it shines brightly. We have placed this near the end of our driveway. It helps to give us better visibility and provides additional security at night. This 2500W street light is so easy to install, and while it’s fairly heavy it can be mounted to the side of a building or garage or mounted on a pole also.
I was impressed with how bright it is and that it stays lit up from dusk to dawn. It comes with a remote control in case that you want to turn it off. We installed this one on our vacation home.
The construction is pretty solid and it’s easy to mount this on a building or on a pole, it looks great either way and I think will hold up for quite some time to come. The motion detection catches even a small rabbit stirring in the yard. I like it a lot!

I was initially looking for a smaller light source but figured I should invest in a larger one with larger capacity solar panels to save on electricity and maintenance in the long run. Instead of using halogen or traditional light bulbs, I decided to get this style as led has a much longer lifespan and is easier to maintain. Everything feels well built and long-lasting, and I am most curious as to how well it will withstand against Wind and Rain which can blow through my neighborhood at a moment’s notice, sometimes up to 20 miles per hour. My biggest complaint would be the packing and that one of the baggies that held the nuts and bolts together burst while shipping scattering them along the Box which was also contaminated by a ton of loose bits of Styrofoam that spread over the entire unit so there was a lot of annoying cleanup dusting and sweeping and trying to get rid of all the fragments. I would suggest the seller use a stiffer styrofoam to reduce such messy cleanup after initially opening the package as I was deterred from using it right away. Other than that, I did not seem to receive any physical instructions as to how to mount the street light which is concerning for anyone who has never installed one of these before. There are tutorials online about installing the sort of units but it seems like a no-brainer that it comes with its own set of instructions.

At first Loved the light but after 1 year shows signs of water entering the light area. It is an IP67 and labeled on npcpsolar.com as waterproof but it is not. I live in Oregon where it rains a lot! And I just noticed the water inside the housing of the light. There isn’t anyway to contact the seller for warranty support. I gave it two stars because it still works but eventually it will not work anymore. They say it should work for 15 years, but I am not seeing that.

Took a while to receive this. It is built like a tank. They made the solar panel the largest I have ever had in any solar power light. Is giant. Also the light is incredibly bright. I left it outside to charge for about 5 hours in the winter sun here in LA. Then I put it in the garage. It was bright. This morning I got up and it was still shining which is crazy because I do not believe I fully charged the battery inside the light. The construction of the pole is heavy duty. I can mount this on the eve of the house or on a pole. I cannot mount it on a light pole that is large in diameter. The connection between the solar panel and the light unit is totally waterproof which is nice. The light unit itself has indication on it that is charging. There is no on and off switch on this. You charge it and it shines that’s it. No nonsense. Happy

It’s EXTREMELY bright. totally surpassed my expectations! it holds a wonderful charge. this light gets a lot of use and we have never been in the situation yet where we did not have enough power to accommodate our needs. even with 3 to 4 days of back to back rain. I do set it on motion detection if we are expecting long periods of rain to conserve the charge.
