   Seriously, living in south FL, taking these down was the last of my worries while prepping back to back for Helene and Milton.

   I have 2 sets in two separate locations both exposed to the elements. The solar panels blew off both times but once put back in place, both sets worked fine. One set is about a year older than the other and has been thru several other tropical storms in addition to the recent hurricanes. Aside from a few burned out bulbs, it’s fine but the sets come with extra bulbs so easy peasy.

   The ONLY issue is that the older set, which is white, has discolored over time but I feel this is to be expected in the harsh elements here. It’s not noticeable to anyone but me as they are high up.

   I have purchased many solar lights over the years which usually quit after a few months. These are still going strong!

   These are damn good quality, no break bulbs, i had them before and they only lasted a couple of years before the charge would only last an hour or two, but the new larger solar panel have been excellent. The light stays on all night, all year. They aren’t super bright but are perfect for what we wanted. Doubled them up under our shade structure to get more light where we wanted it…. couldn’t be happier. No worries about rain tripping a breaker and zero cost for the electricity…. you can cut off the end if you need to, then just add a little silicon caulk over the end and you are golden Update: i have four strings, 3 of them last all night. However one is much less than that, thinking 3 hours. They are all pointed in the same direction…i have asked for a replacement and no one seems to care. The prior version with the smaller pannel had issues early on and they were great to respond, not so much now. Product is better but support worse. All in all, I’d still by them again without hesitation.

   After almost 1.5yrs it holds up! I get decent sun all day, and these lights stay on for a minimum of 8 hours overnight. They have held up to Chicago weather, although we did lose one bulb to a squirrel. The whole string stays lit up even with that. You can also charge the solar panel inside if you don’t get enough light on the panel. There are no other lights lighting up the tree in the photo, so they are also decently bright

   These lights have shockingly lasted through many storms, hurricanes, and the winter snowfall in GA. Very durable lights that has a long battery life since it’s solar!! They look amazing around our gazebo! I would highly recommend these lights.

   This is the third set I have tried. The first set was quite acceptable. The downside is difficult if not impossible to acquire replacement bulbs. The dawn to dusk is 6 hours which is tolerable in summer but a ways short in winter. It did have a remote that works very well which makes up for a short dawn to dusk. On highest level are quite bright but run on subdued to save on battery. The second set had replaceable bulbs, No remote which is likely my fault that was missed. It had 4 mode settings on the back of the solar panel which is not user friendly when the panel is on a roof to get good access to sun. They were very dim indeed. Finally decided to return. Becoming very experienced at hanging and unhanging solar string lights. Supplier offered another set as they did not appreciate my review however that fell through. In regards to this set I very much like the way the bulbs are connected to the string as well the bulbs ae substantial. The main feed is also very substantial. Dawn to dusk is dawn to dusk and even on less than brightest level they provide very good light. Add to that is a remote for special effects. Now to see how long they last. So far the build would indicate that they should be around for the long haul.

   Lights work great however the mounting bracket for the solar panel broke after being hung for less than a week due to poor quality. Attempts to contact the seller to purchase another mounting bracket have failed due to no response.
