The adhesive is not strong enough. They all fell off within 24 hours. I gave it two stars bc at least the lights are a good color and consistent. Cost way too much given the poor quality.

It was hard for me to get them lined up like the photo shows, but they still look great.
As mentioned in another review there is no way to replace the batteries. The sticky tape: I used the side that was white on the light and the side that was red went on the bricks. It seems to hold okay on my brick steps.
The red tape did not want to come off. On one piece of tape it ripped the backing off. I’m hoping that means it will stick to the bricks better.

These lights are designed to be installed in the middle of the risers, just where most people walk. I put these on my deck stairs, and the first time I had family visiting several of these lights had been pulled off the risers by the heels of their shoes when decending. About half are already off the stairs, even after reinstalling several times. Don’t waste your money. I will be replacing them with lights that mount on the ends rather than the center of the steps.
