WoW! I love these solar lights. They make a huge difference and they are just what I wanted for the dark side of my house. I left them in the sun for two days of light and then installed them in less than 30 minutes yesterday. Luckily I have a wooden fence so made a 2 1/4 inch template and marked each spot with a Sharpie and hammered in headed nails. It was easy to just put each light up. I bought the Plus version. Extremely happy.

I bought 24 of these, 3 years ago. As of right now only two are still working. Given the price and the fact they were exposed to the elements for 3 years, I’d say they’re a fairly good buy. Through the years lights would occasionally need to be reset (would randomly turn off or switch color) but otherwise no issues. They stayed in place during snow, heavy wind, and rain.
They operate best in full sunlight. We put them around the entire perimeter of our fence and the lights under any sort of tree cover would never get as bright as the others. At night when they turned out you could definitely see the difference in brightness and they were the first to turn off. On a sunny day we’d still have some lights on at 6 am.
I’m getting ready to buy a second set. 24 of them aren’t cheap but given their longevity and the ambience they give, it’s worth it

The lights look great…. but only 6/8 work. I tried to get npcpsolar.com to replace them, but I was advised that they have to go directly to the company, unfortunately I haven’t heard anything so far and it’s been over a month. Just want to replace the 2 lights under warranty, is it so hard….!!!

Love these lights and solar power. You must place them higher on the wall where it gets sunlight and there are no trees blocking access. My wife loves these new lights. They change colors and make an excellent setting for outside. Great brightness, automatic turing off and on, Good size, and great value for its money.

I don’t have a large backyard and I was able to put all of them around on my fence. I thought they would light up the whole backyard but each light setting is very dim. Do not recommend if you want to use this to light up your yard a lot without using a porch light still.

The lights are perfect as accent lights for my fence, especially being able to pick a light color. The solar charging needs some work. I ordered a large number of these to place on my fence posts. When they work, they look fantastic. I had two go down almost immediately but Aulanto’s customer service sent two more pretty quickly, which was nice. I’ve only had them for a few weeks so far. The ones placed on the back of my fence will only stay on for a couple of hours before losing a charge. I’ve had several dim significantly and others wouldn’t even turn on at night. I turned these off and then back on which fixed the problem. So far, so good. I really like the idea of these lights but they need some work to get the bugs out.

Most of what we received worked. One didn’t turn on at all. Another stopped working after a day. What I found worked for one is turning off and leaving in the sun for a day before turning on again. Usually you can set and leave them. Another one got dim after a month and stays on at night but never gets brighter. Solar lights are never perfect. Trust me I’ve gotten a lot of different kinds throughout the years. Customer service was great in sending replacements and a coupon for a decent price off more new ones even though it took 2 or 3 emails. Overall I would recommend for that reason alone. They do look sleak and great when working.
