   We had a problem with one of the lights about 6 months after purchase and the after care customer service was excellent and a replacement was quickly despatched with follow up care to make sure we had received the replacement abs everything was OK.    I bought these hoping to use them on my boat dock. They do work ok but last only about 6 hours, not until daybreak by no means (7PM to 1 AM). I wanted them to last until 7 AM the next day. This isn’t even winter yet, so the amount of sunlight will be shorter and less and the nights will be longer then. I estimate they will last only about 4 hours at best, running from 6PM to 10 PM. Sunrise will be about 8AM by late December. So, I looked for a solution. The included AA size battery is a generic brand 600 mAh NI-MH rechargable type. Now 600 mAh is very small for this type. Most Energizers are 2000 mAh and Duracells are 2500 mAh. I tested the included battery and the result was not good. It tested at only about 240 mAh capacity and even that was giving it very generous usable voltage limits. I tested a Duracwell 2500 mAh version and it did perform at that rated capacity. So that Duracell battery has 10 times the capacity as the poor one that came with the light. I installed the Duracell battery into the light and it did last all night over a period of one week. So the result is that you can make this light set perform at it’s best by changing the batteries to better ones. The Duracell batteries I used cost about $3.25 each. It is not necessary to purchase the Duracell charger, they come already charged.    Ordered 2 10paks. in April and set them out in mid May,they looked good and worked well. End of May and through June we got a lot of rain (4.5 in. is a lot for N.E.Wyoming),starting after the first rain water leaked by the solar panels (on top of lights) and filled the inner tube/chamber where the LED is housed with water. Don’t think there is any need to say that water is not good for the electrical components of the lights,12 of the 20 are now dead… Rest in peace….. * UPDATE* Less than 4hrs. after this review the seller contacted me by phone (I was not home at the time) and than by e-mail to give me a full refund and replacement lights. Can’t remember when I ever had more prompt or better customer service. I am impressed and would be glad to do business with “Garden Joy” again. A solid *5 Stars* for customer services…. Update…. 7/20/15….. After my initial review and problems with these lights Garden Joy contacted me just hours after the review and (without me requesting it) gave me a full refund,and replaced the 2 10pks. at no cost. WOW,now that’s almost unheard of customer service/satisfaction… They did send me a box (pre-paid postage) and asked if I could please send back 5 of the lights so they could discover the problem and fix it. The new lights are working perfectly (have not had the same heavy rain conditions again) and look good. On the fact of customer satisfaction alone I would give them “6 stars”, can honestly say that I’ve never seen any business try harder to keep the customer happy… I would differently buy from “Garden Joy” again……

   I couldn’t be happier with these lights. Ohio weather can change on a dime but so far, with sunny or mostly sunny days these lights stay lit until dawn. I especially liked the fact I could adjust the height between 8” or 12”. I started them out lower at the bottom of my driveway and increased the height as the distance between my drive and my neighbor’s drive increased. They look fabulous and were easy to assemble and install. Several neighbors have complimented us on them. Just hit the “buy” button! I would be remiss if I failed to mention I contacted GardenBliss customer service for a small issue I had with a single light and they responded immediately to rectify the problem. That kind of customer service is hard to come by these days.

   Bought these lights for the perimeter of our yard to see the dog when she goes out at night. They work pretty well. Not super bright but just gold enough to see the dog. After a few weeks of use I can now say they stay lit for a good 5-6 hours once the sun goes down. I live in south Florida so there is ample sunlight for them to charge everyday. If you are looking to add a little life to your backyard/garden or walkway these do a great job. The batteries that are provided are crap and I recommend changing them for better results. The picture I took was 5 hours after sundown and it’s still giving off some light.

   I had these delivered in the morning, they were easy to assemble, and I put them in the garden on a sunny day. Tonight they have all worked perfectly and are lovely and bright.
