   I have purchased 16 of these lights. The worked great for the first year. Then they started to drop out. I found a few needed a new Solar Battery, 3.2VAA. Not common buy can be found on npcpsolar.com. I found that 10 of the lights when opened up had a green wire that had disconnected from the LED. That’s over 50% of the lights I purchased! In the first year! 68.75% Failure Rate. I soldered the wire back on to the LED and after that they worked fine. If you don’t have a soldering tool you won’t be able to fix. Other than that I do like them.

   I bought these because I needed many at a good price and wanted low lumen output . Would have preferred a warm white versus the blu-ish white LED, but they look nice and acceptable. When installing do not use the cheap aluminum, wood screws they provide with the lights because the heads just get ripped up. Buy some steel 6x1x1/4 wood screws ( about 9 cents each ) and the install is a breeze/ .

   I am in love with these light. They are beyond beautiful on my new composite deck. Only complaint I have is the batteries that come with the product do not last long enough. They only stay on for about 4 to 5 hours a night and being winter I want them to stay on at least 10 hours. Hopefully the seller can info me what kind of battery is needed to make this this happen. Other then that this is an amazing product for the money. Beats paying $40 per light at my local home Depot.

   I ordered the 12 pack of these lights. 10 worked fine, but two failed to work properly. One blinked constantly and another failed to light at all. Other than that they provide a nice ambiance for the deck but are not necessarily enough light to find your way around the deck on a dark evening. The photo switches seem to work well and the lights appear to charge well even on not so sunny days. I cut the post caps at a standard 6″ X 6″ from 2 X 8 material and the lights fit perfectly over them. The screws included with the lights require pre-drilling when installing into wood. Without the pre-drilling they strip out the Phillips head easily. Overall we are pleased with the lights, but would like to get the two non-working ones replaced. Have not contacted the company or npcpsolar.com about that yet.

   I love my solar lights. I had a hard time finding lights that would fit a 6×6 vinyl post cover. These fit great and are very bright. They stay lit all night and add a beautiful touch to my deck.

   After several yrs & lots of rain wind & hail this yr. we watched our old deck lights carried away in pieces.After looking everywhere for months I settled on these, what a great choice! They do have a battery for back up & are Very Bright. I love the way they look I wish I could find Pathway lights by iGlow to match. It took my husband NO time to put up 12. I highly recommend, I attached a picture but it doesn’t do them justice.

   6 MONTH UPDATE –ALL LIGHTS ARE DEAD. I STILL HAVE 4 FROM MY FIRST ORDER THREE YEARS AGO THAT WORK. BUT NONE OF THIS LAST SET SIX MONTHS AGO. NICE LOOKING BUT BASIC GARBAGE. Take a look at these batteries- All about to explode. Received units the other day. I have purchased 48 of these, 24 recently to replace the first 24. After you go through the trouble of replacing these you have to wait a full day for them to charge (12 hours of direct sunlight is best) First night, less than 1/2 worked. I went around and removed the battery in each unit that did not work (three of the batteries showed signs of leaking acid, I didn’t think that was possible with Li-Ion but I guess I’m wrong) and reinserted the non leaking batteries. I let them charge for a full day. I now only have ten lights that do not work. That is about a 40% failure rate right out of the box. This weekend, I will check every battery for leaking. I would like to get the replacements for the non-working units but that appears to be impossible. Although I did have a couple in the first 24 that did not work right out of the box I managed to get them to work with a little effort. All of the first 24 are shot and I’m not sure if it is the solar panels or the batteries. September 25th Update. Six more lights have failed bring the total of the second batch to 18 out of 24
