I had planned on using these to work outside, but actually they are not bright enough for that. However they work great for finishing cleaning up just as the sunlight is fading. I have only put one up, which was very easy to install, and with the provided mounting plate, they can be dismounted for any reason. Possibly moved around, but that would require extra mounting hardware. The movement sensor is ok. The included remote control is weak, only working when you are within one feet of the light. Maybe new batteries? It has three different brightness settings. And I believe there’s a setting for always on, which is nice if you plan to place it where you hang out at night. Two in the box, which is a nice deal.

I installed one of these on a metal fence around a patio for the purpose of being able to take our dogs out at night without the necessity of a flashlight. I did need to use shorter stainless steel screws but that was because of my option of a different installation. The lights are bright enough to see what the dogs are doing and clean up after them. They are not on too long and if they go out too soon just move to the side and the motion detector brings them back on. Perfect for what we needed.
