It’s a heavy Duty lighting unit and I must say it gives out bright light and easy set up. Just hook up your mounting unit on the wall or on the ground ,plug in the lighting unit into the solar panel unit and make sure the solar panels is in a open area for the sun to recharge . Very powerful lights ! I recommend it! Happy customer here!

Amazing how much light you get from this solar. My husband was skeptical as the only experience we’ve had with solar lights has not been good. This isn’t your cheap landscape solar lighting with hardly any output. You get what you pay for and this is awesome!

Lights up trunk and most of the canopy of 40’ pines.
Great illumination and lasts long after I go to bed.
I did need to add the 10 foot extension Cord to the solar panel. They do require full sun to get a good charge. The included cords were not long enough to reach beyond the shade canopy.

This light Iasts all night; when I get up at 6:00, the light is still shining. Granted, it is summertime at the 37th parallel, but still impressive. I’ve only owned it it a month, but so far the solar cells and batteries are working well. One of the design choices which contributes to longer illumination cycles is the warm lamp wavelength used which consume less energy. Don’t expect a bright flood light. The polished reflectors which surround the bulb help maximize its illumination. It is a flood light, not a spotlight, so it’s light is muted, but wide. The solar panel can be mounted on the lamp case or remotely (cable included) on a short post or on a wall bracket. The only annoyance I found was that when the solar panel is piggybacked on the light case, it interfered with the obtuse inclination of the light. We have ordered three different gamma sonic solar products and it out performs other solar lamps we ordered previously. I think the replacement batteries are only available from GS, but I might be mistaken.

Just received this yesterday. It is nicely packaged and I tested it on a tree in the front yard. Brighter than most of the solar spotlights some of my neighbors have. It will be perfect for out little HOA park if I can solve one problem, namely, that the light fixture is in the shade during the daytime so the light sensor thinks it is nighttime. Consequently, the light is on even though it is a bright cloudless day. This is a design flaw. Obviously, the point of the separate solar panel is so it can be in the sun even if the light can’t be. Therefore the daylight sensor should be on the solar panel, not the light fixture itself.
I’ll update this if I find a solution. I do recommend this product from what I’ve seen so far if both the light and the solar panel will be in the sun for your situation.

For the money I’d expect a little more from this light. It works fine after a sunny day but only a couple of hours after a cloudy one.
I’m not very impressed.

I have been dooped before buying solar lights, not this time though the build quality is strong and durable. This light is used for the flag in our front yard.
