   I have purchased these through the years for decorations on the front deck fence and in back on the decorative fencing around the small barn. They beautifully light up the area. They only come in multiple changing colors…no white, but they add so much charm to my property.

   These look amazing when they’re lit up, unfortunately seems fairly fragile as 2 were broken on arrival. Got them on sale and wanted to hang them up anyways, they look great in our yard. Not very bright as far as lighting up the area but love the way the glass lights up. Great battery life after a full sunny day, I’ve woken up at 2am and they were still going! The color changing is preset but it’s a smooth slow transition between colors and since they come on at varying time based on when the photosensor kicks then on it provides a cool variation of colors between them. Knocking 1 star off because they do seem fragile and could be packed a bit better by the manufacturer.

   They will only come on once the ambient light around them gets dark enough to trigger them. I took these out of the box about an hour before sundown on a rainy day. Per the instructions, I removed the glass globes, located the on/off switch and turned them on. The batteries were dead of course. I hung them on my front porch under an overhang. And yet, after only that tiny amount of exposure to very pale light, they shined out as soon as the sun went down. The crackle pattern in the glass casts a lovely/interesting pattern on the ground. You can easily see these from the street. Mine are the cold white version.

    These lights feel very substantial right out of the box, when you first turn them on they are super bright and beautiful, but the next night and following nights, they were considerably dimmer. I am saddened by this as they were so beautiful when first hung in my tree.

    Of the 12 lights, 3 stay lit for > 5 hours when the description states: “Charge for 6-8 hours during the day and provide 8-10 hours of lighting at night”
    None of the 12 lights stay lit for even 8 hours, even though they are in full sunlight during the day. I’m very disappointed in the quality. However, when they are lit, they are beautiful!

    I was so excited to find these lights. I put them around the patio and garden. It added a special look to my yard at night. However, after a week, one light stopped working. As time goes on, they continue to fail. Out of 12 lights, 5 have failed in less than five weeks. And it’s too late to return them. My worst investment of the year.

    I was contacted by this merchant after I wrote a review and they felt terrible that I had such a bad experience with their lights. They sent 8 replacement lights to make up for the 5 that had quit working.
    I am surprised that a company cares enough about their product, that they actually read the reviews and follow up with customer concerns. I had to change to a 5 star review because I was so impressed with their service. Thank you GIGALUMI!!!!!!

    These showed up with a little bit of power and turned right on. Only one was slightly less bright, so I kept them in place in the box for a charge the next day. I turned them all back off, then on in the morning to charge a full day on my south facing windowsill, in my sunroom. As you can see in the picture the one is still less bright. I’m not certain as to the reason. They all had the same sun exposure and duration. I don’t think it’s a representation for quality; as lights and bulbs in particular are sensitive and may just be a variation in batch scenerio, I will contact the company and see what may be the case. The light still works, but a matching set might be important for some, as this is a set of eight. Overall, the quality glass is nice and thick, lots of crackles, giving of a very pretty patern where it reflects. Nice attched hanger stlyle looks very sleek and is easy to install in any room, garden or porch. Great for saving on energy, and giving a nice subtle light to your space. Update; I reached out to Gigalumi & they are taking excellent customer care of for the one light situation. They immediately responded, making me a fan and I would recommend this company. After reviewing I gave the lights a 4 (wish 4.5 was available); noting that my only concern was that people may wish the light all be the same brightness. So, with the excellent customer service, I update my review to 5 stars.
