Doesn’t stay on long only 4hrs for me and that’s with a bright sunny day for them to charge. I do have it on the gutter and fence amount of light is small better for a door way and with 2 or more to really light up an area.

got them around the garden . sit there at night glass of wine cannot beat it . they work with little sun shine . Got to go top up the wine . Looking forward to winter just to see the garden at night the lights will blow away the cobwebs/ gloom of the long dark night’s. Update They are amazing if you get fed up of winter get these and watch a winter garden that you did not exist .
