I was very surprised by how sturdy this item is. Even though it is listed as cast aluminum I figured it would be very flimsy but it is surprisingly sturdy and heavy. The lights are easy to install on an existing pole, simply place it on the pole and tighten the three screws and you are done. These lights are actually bright for what they are, I believe there are only 12 tiny led’s inside the light. I would recommend letting the light charge for at least 24 hours before first use. I would recommend these lights based on the quality, pricing compared to other solar lights, and function.

I’ve had mine about 5yrs. After maybe 2yrs., I put in a new battery. It hadn’t gone out, I just didn’t want it to. And it never has! Every morning, I look out and it’s still on. [unless I sleep late] Sometimes it’s not very bright, but that’s ok, it’s not for reading. We live in southern Ohio with sun, clouds, rain and snow, and I think this may be the the best thing I ever bought online! It’s excellent, completely reliable.

It is “easy” to install in the sense there is no wiring needed. It does, however, require you have a post of the size specified.
For me this now puts a light where I previously had none. The light is bright enough to help see the walk. If you are within about 15 feet, you could differentiate your keys. But it’s not bright enough to read by even if you were right next to it.
I’ve had this lamp for over two years now. It’s still on the original batteries which continue to work fine. It holds enough charge for the light even in New England with our short days. It also still lights up after cloudy days. Probably a good idea to put it somewhere within reach where you can wipe the snow off the solar cells.

I am extremely satisfied with the Kemeco ST4327Q-A LED Post Solar Cap Light. It provides a bright and warm white light that illuminates my outdoor space perfectly. The cast aluminum fixture is durable and adds a nice touch to the overall appearance of the light. I appreciate the convenience of it being solar powered, as it makes it easy to install and maintain. Pleasantly surprised at the amount of bright white light this emits, especially as a solar light. Installation was easy. It is important to let it fully charge for a full day of bright sunshine (I did two days as one was partially overcast) before mounting and turning on. But this is a solar light so it isn’t going to light your whole yard, it is more for ambiance and provide some general path and safety lighting.
The only downside is that the size of the lamp is a bit small compared to the older post we mounted it on, but it looks fine. Overall very happy and would recommend. Much more affordable than rewiring an ancient post light!
