We have a side patio with sliding doors that needed some sprucing up with some wall sconces. There is no electrical wiring on the wall so I decided on a pair of these as a solution. I picked the item because of the way the fixture actually uses visible light bulbs unlike others that uses a cluster of small LED lights. The style is traditional with a modern twist. The solar cells are on top and is not visible once the fixture is attached to the wall which I like. Brightness is not as good as one would expect from a wired fixture but this was not a deal breaker for me. I use the soft “yellow” glow and it is more than enough for the space. The lights come on right at sundown which I also like but be aware that they don’t stay on all night…I have woken up before dawn and found the lights were off.

Wiring doesn’t work in front porch light, so solar was the best option but my last fixture was so dim. This one is amazing! And so sleek and pretty.
I wish I could just buy one, that’s all I needed. One fixture broke in transit because the side panels are glass, but npcpsolar.com sent replacement before I even mailed the old ones back, no problem.
I really recommend these for bright, warm light wherever you need it.

I bought 6 sets of 2 each for the upgrade on my backyard but the batteries on half of them doesn’t work, I tried to request a replacement batteries because they are already installed in my patio and all the system can do is process a refund? I needed them for this weekend so I guess I have to suck the price of buying new batteries at Battery + and forget about it but If you want to waste your time and money buy them or else get something better. I loved the fixture and are easy to install but defective battery so they will look nice but won’t work.

Very good brightness, very easy to install. I have mine to turn on at night, you can’t even tell they’re solar lights. Comes with the light bulbs. Very sturdy, highly recommend! Actual metal and glass!

I’m doing a lot of renovation to an old home, and searched feverishly for the right style of outside lighting. I didn’t want something that was cheaply made (like plastic). These lights are made of metal and glass and are absolutely beautiful and a compliment to the design of a 1960’s home renovation. I was very surprised once I pulled them out of the box. I initially bought a wired lighting kit, but was persuaded to go with solar. They work perfectly, so far. Excellent product, would recommend highly!
