All but one string failed after first night. Bought new rechargeable batteries for the 4 failed sets. Worked only 1 night. I saw some reviews that had the same experience and ignored them. There is something seriously non functional about this setup.

I gave this as a gift and was embarrassed to learn that the balls are very flimsy. One was apparently broken in the box, and 2 fell off the string because they’re too loose. The box was in good condition and well-packed, so the breakage was due to the bad construction. Since I no longer have it, I can’t even return it.

I love the design of these, they’re super cute and have an authentic Moroccan design. However, I’ve ordered 8 or so kits and more than half arrived broken. One strand stopped working after installing. Not sure it’s worth it…

We’ve had these up on our deck rail for 3 weeks and had several storms and it hasn’t caused a problem. Love their warmth, they glow brightly every evening; I’m buying a second set.
Update- one of the lights on the new string of lights stopped working after a few days. It looks like a wire that should be encased popped out of the plastic. Still like them though. No prob with them getting wet.
