I previously had the cheap $2 a piece brown solar stair lights 2 winters destroyed all of them. These feel much higher quality and look pretty nice as well. The silicone gasket looks well made and should keep out the rain and snow.
They take about 1 minute each to install with a drill.

I placed these on top of the cinder block wall beside my house. That area had no lighting and these were perfect. They get plenty of sun there so they work just fine. I used some gorilla double sided tape to attach them.
