   I really appreciate that these are 56 LED lights. I didn’t realize that having this many in one light made as much of a difference as it does. I’m very happy with this order. The two I received have inspired me to order more, they’re really good. At first glance the plastic casing looks a little cheap, but it actually holds up well and the stakes are easy too drive into the ground for placement. The light is cool and soft, and has a wide spanse. I am really enjoying these in my garden.

   These lights are good… but you absolutely, positively MUST replace the nuts (used to set the light’s angle) with stainless steel nuts if you want to avoid having them rust within a few months. The nuts in mine (thankfully) hadn’t rusted to the point of no return by the time I realized there was a problem… but I’m pretty sure they WOULD have been rusted and immobilized in another month or two. For the record, the nuts you need to buy (available from npcpsolar.com or local stores) are M4.7 (metric size) stainless steel. The photos show what the screw and nut on one of the lights looked like after just ~4 months in a South Florida lawn… during a relatively dry winter (albeit, with sprinklers running every other night). Rusty-nut problems aside, the lights are very nice. You can run them at their lowest brightness (which is still meaningfully bright) and get the charge to last all night & still have a bit left to run for a few hours the following night after a rainy or overcast day, and run them at their max brightness and have them be VERY bright. They can also dim and brighten in a “breathing” pattern. To illustrate the lights’ brightness and spread, I shot photos of a white double garage door (f1.9, ISO 400, 1/10sec exposure) from 10 feet away, and a tree in the back yard (f1.9, ISO3200, 1/6sec). The tree’s trunk was approximately 15 feet away, and the tree’s top was approximately 25 feet away. Suffice to say, this light is bright, brighter, and VERY bright. I originally intended to only give it 3 stars due to the rusty nut problem, but decided to bump it back up to 4 due to its other redeeming qualities. So… I do recommend these lights… but you ABSOLUTELY MUST replace the nut with stainless steel, or it will UNQUESTIONABLY rust to the point of no return within a few months.
