   We are all about creating a relaxing atmosphere in our back yard and these little solar lamps contribute to such a cozy space. I love how they look good in the day as well as the night. When it comes to brightness they are on the dim side which I actually prefer. I do wish they were slightly more of a warm white but that’s just a personal preference. I absolutely love the design that is reflected on the surface it sits on. Overall, it is very functional for a decorative accent light but not for lighting up a space in order to see better. The build quality is simple and feels durable while sitting in the sun which is the most important.

   These are very light weight. I’ve only had them for two days and I’ve had to go find them twice. Alexa says the wind speed is 9 miles an hour and at that speed they are blowing off the table. The solar pieces fall out when they blow off the table making them even lighter in weight. You will find the solar piece by the table and the decorative piece will be out in out in the yard somewhere. You’ll see them blowing across the yard like tumble weeds. They are attractive enough, for sure, in dim light or the dark. But this is a thin, soft metal that has been stamped. To me, they seem a little pricey for what they are. I need to find a way to weight them or stick them down. Three stars on a windy day and five stars on a quiet night.

   I have an addiction to solar lights and some have been very disappointing, but these are not. They are just the perfect size or setting on a table or on the step to see better at night. They charged very easily and seemed to hold a charge.Really?Well of all the lights I have, they seem to be top quality.    I have received numerous types of solar lanterns over the last few months, and I can definitely say that the quality and design on these are absolutely beautiful. They blend into the aesthetic as they are eclectic and classy at the same time. They put off the perfect amount of brightness. They come on right when it gets dark and they last almost until morning, which is quite impressive. I did not hang mine, so I decided to put them on two of my tables on my porch. If you are looking to spruce up your outdoor space, these are definitely a wonderful option.

   I’ve been ordering a number of solar lanterns for summer, but just as quickly as they come in, I’ve been giving them out again as birthday gifts, housewarming gifts or farewell gifts. This is the set I will keep for myself. This set is lower profile than some of the other lanterns on the market, which makes them a better fit for an end table on your patio. The light emitted is indeed a warm, diffuse glow. Just a gorgeous and natural addition to your outdoor space.

   This pair of metal solar lanterns add a warm glow to outdoor living space and landscapes. They work equally well individually, maybe placed on a tabletop, or as part of a grouping, such as lined on porch steps or placed in a row along a deck railing. The lids that contain rechargeable solar batteries and lights are in theory replaceable, although I’ve been using a similar pair (possibly identical except for the exterior color, which is more bronzey) that I ordered from a different seller 13 months ago, and they are still going strong after four+ seasons outdoors, where they’ve tolerated lots of rain and wind, as well as some extreme heat and cold temps. Each lid includes a switch on the underside that allows you to toggle between the off position and either a cooler, whiter light or a warmer, more yellow one. I see other reviewer photos that show an example in more of an antique white over gold finish, but the pair I ordered was described as copper in color and the lanterns I received definitely have more of a coppery looking finish. At the current discounted price of about twenty-two dollars for the pair, and with the option to purchase a set of four at an even lower per-item price, I consider them a really good value, whether you’re looking to brighten up your own space and/or are looking for unique but inexpensive gifts.
