   The perfect solution to my dark walkway. My door entrance is in the backyard and in these winter months, it is a challenge to see your way down my path. With dark wood steps for safety alone, this light is well worth the cost. The style and classy ambiance it provides is a definite bonus to that. Made with real metal and real glass. I do think having a bottom piece would benefit those of us who live in the woods with lots of web-creating creatures and flying critters that are attracted to the light. One of the biggest factors for me is the separate solar panel that can be placed in a better sunspot than in the shadowy area where the light itself was placed. The motion sensor is perfectly sensitive to larger two-legged beasts and doesn’t flash every time a mouse walks by. Always appreciate that, it isn’t a forest disco after all with the constant flashing of lights

   I was very excited to mount this on my home built sauna as we go out early, before sunrise to fire it up and let it have time to get hot. Having a lamp outside with a light sensor and automatic controls seemed like an ideal solution to avoid trips and falls as well as add a little aesthetic to it. I was pretty excited to check it out when it arrived although it would be a bit of time before I could install it as we had plans to do trim work and paint first. Upon initial inspection I was impressed with the style and loved that they included a retro led bulb with it so it is “good to go”. Unfortunately when I set aside time to install it and laid everything out I went to install the 4 glass panels; the instructions say that there are tabs with retaining screws included. They were nowhere in the package. I double and triple checked, even scouring over the Styrofoam packaging to see if there was a little notch they were taped in. They were not included. I did reach out to the manufacturer about a week ago but they never even bothered to respond. I think I will try to use some butyl rubber glass adhesive to serve as a replacement for the missing tabs and screws. Missing hardware is a frustration but it can happen. Ignoring a customer inquiry about it tells me this may be one to think before ordering.

   I really fell in love with this light when I opened the box. It has a classic sturdy design of metal and glass. I was hopeful that it would be everything I wanted in a porch light without having to hire an electrician to run power to the location. This has the size, shape, weight and ambiance of a hard wired outdoor wall lamp. It’s wonderfully made and will look great on a porch. We have a large wrap around porch but only have wiring to a light right beside the front door. This means the backdoor that opens to the covered porch is in the dark. It’s frustrated me through the years that power wasn’t run to this side of the porch. It being a covered porch I was unable to mount a traditional solar light because it wouldn’t receive sun. This was the Perfect way to Solve our difficulty. We mounted it right beside the back door and ran the solar panel up to the roof of the covered porch. The cord is not extremely long so I made sure it would reach. It was an easy install. I’ve installed solar barn lights on the outside of the barn and it was the same basic principle so if you’ve installed solar wall lights before this should be easy. Even if this is your first solar rodeo, just take it one step at a time and it will be perfect. This is much easier than an electrical install. It took us maybe 30 minutes from start to finish. The light is bright and easily lights up the back door area. It looks amazing, No one would guess it’s solar.

   I honestly didn’t expect these to be as bright as the are. It is made with some good quality materials. Even though I broke the solor mount by over tightening, it’s aluminum. It’s bright, easy to install and it looks good.

   This review is for the “RINLNOY Solar Wall Lights Outdoor Waterproof,Solar Porch Lights Outdoor,Aluminum Solar Sconce Lights Outdoor,Matte Black.” This is a really lovely, modern solar light lantern. I had a little trouble with the glass walls, but that was a user error, lol. The lantern is sturdy, and the solar power cord is long enough to place it where you need to on your roof. It’s more of a decorative light than a security light since it relies on solar power.

   We needed a replacement for some cheap stick in the ground solar lights we bought to light the walkway, and found these lights. They are both aesthetic and functional, our top priority was that the solar light would be strong enough to last through the night and these do that very well.
