Super easy to install. We weren’t able to place the light above the rope mechanism on our umbrella pole because it wouldn’t fit around both the pole and the rope, but it stayed on the pole below that mechanism just fine. We don’t leave it outside so I can’t speak to its weatherproof-ness. But the soft white light is nice and bright. It works great with batteries but the USB option is cool!

Easy to attach to any umbrella. I would have liked to be able to leave it on, however, you can’t close the umbrella when it is on. No problem though, it’s so easy to put on and take off. The three light intensities is nice as well since we tend to eat dinner late in the summer time.

We would install and remove each time we needed it so that batteries wouldn’t be compromised by the weather. Installation is easy.

If light is faced down it is bright enough to play a board game it cards at the table with no additional light source. With 3 light settings you can control the amount of brightness. If you turn the light up towards the umbrella the result is nice ambient mood lighting and your umbrella will glow.

This light was under a patio umbrella. Once the batteries were installed it worked 1 time. I installed a brand new set of batteries and only 2 of the lights came on, on once side of the light. You can see where the thin metal plastic covering appeared to melt off. I’m beyond the period of return since I purchased on 5/28.

While this is a really great idea and addition to a patio table, providing light for the whole table, the springs that hold it to the umbrella pole broke within 4 weeks of it arriving. There is no way of returning it either, so get ready to buy something that will break right after it can be rectified by the seller!
