Mine rusted and corroded also. I have an email out to the company to see if they sell replacement ones since it would be very easy to replace it. I’ll let everyone know if I have any success.. I found replacement ones on npcpsolar.com that fit perfectly. Search “replacement solar tops”

I received two of these lanterns as Christmas gifts and they were beautiful. The first monsoon storm this past week unfortunately ruined them both. The solar panels on top were not sealed to prevent water from seeping into and filling the battery compartment. They both stopped working and when my husband opened them up, he found the wiring had completely rusted inside and the batteries were corroded. There was no way to repair them.

This is a beautiful lantern, but I was disappointed with how dull it lit up. I feel the quality was not there for how high the price was.
