   UPDATE 2: 9/21/2022: 2-years and still fine. No issues. UPDATE: 1-year UPDATE: 7/17/2020: Still working. No issues at all. So far so good… installed 2 days ago. I’m a major DIY’er so this was super easy install. I don’t know how people are having issues installing under an eave. I unboxed, rotated the motion sensor half a turn (180degrees), and installed the light. Just some small aiming adjustments made to each light to get them pointed where I wanted but zero modifications or changes to this fixture at all. Motion sensor is great. Picks up my 120lb dog at least 50ft away in the back yard (which is what I want, because it will pick up any uninvited human guests at night as well). Cool bonus feature of this light: I only learned this when reading the manual. You can set this light to “AUTO” mode to activate by the motion sensor. I have a light switch inside my back door to turn my yard lights on an off, so I just leave the switch in the “ON” position so the light has continuous power and can activate when the motion sensor is triggered. HERE’s the bonus feature: if I want to override the motion sensor and force the light on in a “steady on” mode, you just cycle your internal power switch to “off” wait 2sec, the back to “on” position. The light senses this toggle and it stays on for 8hrs before turning back off! Such intelligent programming by the manufacturer. This is EXACTLY what I wished in a perfect back yard motion light. I can still force the light to stay illuminated during times I want to work on the yard after dark, etc, but I never have to change the operation setting from “AUTO” mode on the fixture itself. Totally cool. This has not been mentioned in any reviews I have read and I know some of you will appreciate this. It is bright as others have mentioned. Nice white color but not too white for the eyes at night. Wish the housing was metal like my old heavy duty halogen flood light that this replaced, but I knew it was plastic when I made the purchase so I cannot knock the supplier on this. Longevity: not sure yet. Just installed 2 days ago. I will update after about a year of operation after it has survived 4 seasons in Oklahoma, or will update earlier if it breaks prematurely. We are in heavy rainy springtime right now so it is a good test for the light. Looks like the supplier has provided good customer service to other reviewers who have had problems, so I’m counting on their 5yr warranty to be honored if any issues. I plan to buy 2 more to replace the other two halogen floodlight units on my house. I’m tired of changing the halogen bulbs so frequently and the suck power and run hot.

   This motion detection light is sensitive and very very bright. They have been in use in extreme cold and warm weather and have been used night and day for years. I would highly recommend this product. This unit is well built and easy to install. It has been the best motion detector light system I have installed compared to even Costco or other big box brand motion detector lights.

   Con su sensor de movimiento alumbra súper bien, sobre todo en mi calle que tiene poca luz. Nos da mucha tranquilidad por esa razón.
   Funciona en la noche. Hay opciones para programar el tiempo que quieras para que alumbre cuando detecte un movimiento.
   Es bueno también programar el ángulo que quieras que alumbre.
   Nosotros lo dejamos en el mínimo, ya que se prendía cuando pasaban coches e iba a ser un gran consumo de luz.
   Lo recomiendo. Espero dure mucho tiempo.

   Replacing incandescent eave lighting on the house with LED. Had prior bad experiences with other half baked products with LED bulbs failing due to inadequate cooling, motion detector problems, lights coming on in daytime, etc. This product does not appear to have those problems so far. The LED’s are out there so they stay cool, The circuit board looks like it is high quality (see photo). If any moisture got in here I don’t see it shorting out. If mounted under an eave, there is enough gap at the light heads mountings that any water would drain out. Nothing much to rust here since it is mostly plastic. The motion detector has not falsed. The lights don’t go on during the daytime. There is the usual switch flip method to over-ride the motion detector to turn them on if you need them on at night. Well packaged. Clear instructions. Well executed. Good price. Includes gasket, all screws, mounting plate, nuts – basically everything needed to install. I only bought one at first since it was unclear from the photos whether under-eave mounting (as opposed to on a vertical wall) would let me angle everything properly. This method works fine and will be ordering more. Very bright. Packaging instructions state that these are not waterproof and only OK for mild dampness but the npcpsolar.com product description says Waterproof. We will see long-term but I expect these to last.

   Nach mehreren Videos über LED Strahler,bin ich endlich auf ein Elektriker Video gestoßen,der genau dieses Produkt empfohlen hat.
   Die Maße,die Farbe,der Bewegungsmelder und die flexible Ausrichtung der Strahler haben mich überzeugt.
   Das Gehäuse hat den Vorteil dass er nur mit einer Schraube gehalten wird,daher müssen die Löcher der Vorgängerlampe nicht übereinstimmen.
   Eins der Löcher verwenden und den anderen kurz verspachteln,fertig!
   Das Gehäuse hat am hinteren Bereich einen Deckel mit einer Öffnung für das Stromkabel.
   Kleiner Tipp: das Stromkabel nicht zu knapp schneiden,da der Deckel nur in einer bestimmen Position einrastet.Um eine Wasserdichtigkeit zu gewährleisten.
   Ist das Gehäuse angebracht,kann man auch mit der Ausrichtung der beiden Strahler beginnen.
   Um den Bewegungsmelder optimal auszurichten zu können,gibt es den Testfunktionsmodus.
   Die Strahler gehen für kurze Zeit an,um zu testen wie gut der Bewegungswinkel eingestellt ist.
   Ist man mit dem eingestellten Radius zufrieden,muss man nur noch den erwünschten Einschaltmodus auswählen.
