Looked good and were reviewed well and on sale for Prime day – what a con. 1 of them snapped off at the plastic part within 3 days of installing. It was not even particularly windy :(. Fortunately I didn’t open the other pack I got – def return!

These solar lights are well made from quality materials. We love the glow from the real glass globes. The metal has a nice brushed finish and they seem like they will last a long time. I let them sit in the sun for three days prior to turning them on and haven’t had any issues with them not holding a charge. If I had one complaint is that the light sensor is a bit too sensitive so the two lights closest to my porch don’ t light up when the porch light is on. If I block the list from the porch they turn right on. The instructions warn of placing them to close to a bright light so I can’t ding the lights for this. I would buy these again and would recommend them to a friend.

Actual glass! Pretty. They fade after a few hours, but that’s ok. I like em.

Easy to install! You definitely have to put in the spikes first with a rubber mallet or gently with a hammer. If you try to hammer hard, I could see the spikes breaking, but I didn’t have that issue like other people. The lights aren’t terribly bright, but they do the job for the walkway I’m trying to light and they last really long.
Some nuances:
– You have to turn them on out of the box or else they don’t automatically come on at night
– Remember to take off the clear plastic from the top of the solar panel or they don’t charge.

I got the lamps because I wanted something substantial; higher quality than what you can get at places like HD where you can get a pack of six for like 2 bucks each. So I paid the premium and yes, the globes are glass and I suppose the finish is stainless steel, but they’re kind of boring plain vanilla and actually don’t work all that well. My three-year old crummy lights from the aforementioned store come on earlier and last longer. Oh well.
