They don’t work. Got the “green” light as the instructions state, and no light when we walk in front of the light. Tried the other modes, and nothing works. Both lights are in direct sunlight. Followed all instructions, but nothing works when tested. They look great but don’t work one bit. Don’t have the time to play the yo-yo game of returning back and forth. Will be looking for something different, that works. Just garbage and I don’t recommend spending the $ on these.

I simply love the look of gooseneck lighting outdoors and have recently been looking for solar options too. This looks nice and although much of it is plastic, since it is high up, its not a huge deal. We had to use our own screws since our placement through siding was deeper than what was provided. Otherwise, the mounting was pretty straightforward. There is a circle where gooseneck joins with the lamp shade and it is a bit odd why its not smooth and flat – both sides are that way. But again, no one is looking that close. We opted for the green setting which is to turn on to full brightness upon motion. The light was a bit dim as far as how far it illumiated. It seems other people mentioned it isn’t very bright. We checked in the morning and the green light was now blinking red and that isn’t mentioned in the instructions so am just gonna think that is a charging indicator for now. The instructions said the batteries should last 2-3 years before needing replacement 3.7 volt batteries, so I hope we get that far.

I put both of these lights up right before hurricane Helene hit GA. One almost got hit by a tree that came down, but was still shining bright. If the sun is not out during the day, they obviously won’t light up for that long at night. But after a sunny day, they stay lit almost the whole night. I would buy them again. Definitely worth the money to get light where you don’t have power.

When I got these I thought I got the wrong ones. I was shocked to see that solar lights were using regular bulbs because I had never seen it before. For the money and the purpose I needed them for I’m extremely happy with them. They are very bright, not sure how long they last because I put them on a house that I put on the market so I haven’t been there to see how long they last. But they definitely improved the look and help light up around the front of the carport that doesn’t have power. They added a nice ambiance and it’s nice to have lights so you can see.
