I bought the original 4-pack of these last year and they’ve done so well in all sorts of SoCal weather that I decided to buy 4 more and install them on a large pergola that we just finished building. They hold a charge very well and light up around sundown and are still working when the sun comes up the next morning. These tiki-style lights add a festive vibe to our outdoor use and are easily installed on any flat surface with the included hardware.
Please be sure to read the instructions about turning the lights on before daylight charging for the first time. There is a very small tool included in the screw bags that needs to be used to push the on/off switch inside the light to activate it. The tool is easy to miss, especially for folks who might skim over the instructions. 🙂
These are a nice touch to any backyard community area and I definitely recommend them.

The lights are aesthetically nice but they only work half the time. To be honest not even half. They will turn on at night and turn off within an hour. Again they do look amazing but no point if they can’t be seen at night.

We bought 2 of these, and one of them only worked for just over a month. Of course it was just past the window to be able to return them. Took the back off of the one that didn’t work, and you’re not able to fix it. Waste of money.
