I cannot remember the last time I saw such a mediocre item this wildly and ridiculously overpriced. It is utterly absurd. The solar charge can barely manage to fully illuminate this sloppily constructed, unevenly/cheaply designed total ripoff. Also, as someone else mentioned in another review: the remote is such a piece of junk it shouldn’t even qualify as functioning.

This is a solid, attractive solar light. With a few hours of sunlight, it will easily run all night on the brightest setting. The illumination is excellent for a solar light and it is not “glaring” or “blinding” from any position–works well on a side table.
I’m not deducting points for the price since I can’t find anything closely comparable. This is a well made light and it looks great, but it is worth looking around and deciding for yourself whether you want to spend this much for solar illumination.

This lamp is a workhorse beauty. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on durability. Out of the box and once charged up by the power of the sun, this lamp (size small) stays illuminated all evening. I got the soft white. It puts out a non-glaring, soft light. The reeds on the lamp that I got are a bit darker than they appear in the product page photos. Still just lovely and easy to use. Comes with a dimmer and well-packaged. This is an investment piece. I’m using mine poolside and enjoying it. Recommended.
