   I’m using these to light my backyard for my dog during these dark afternoons / nights. Make sure you “charge” them first and read the directions for different modes.

   I had thought the grey color on these would be nicer–it looks rather drab and cheaply made. I could live with it, but was disappointed to find that it was really hard to peel off the plastic shielding each of the charging panels on these lights. It tore and stuck on a couple of the charging panels and I could not manage to get it all the way off. This has never before happened with other solar lights of this sort. Also, many of these sorts of lights come with double stick tape, to make installation via screws easier. This set does not have that. It is not a big deal for me, but together all of these small issues added up to a 3.5 out of 5 points rating.

   I ordered these to illuminate my yard for when I walk through it at night. I wanted to test them out before going through the time of installing them permanently on the side of my deck. I set them out in direct sunlight for a minimum of 4 hours. That evening, I turned them on and put them approximately where I would be installing them to check the results. I am happy with them. They light up when I was about 20 ft. away. The brightest setting is just enough to illuminate the ground so I can see where I am walking. I don’t think I would call them flood lights, as they are not as bright as my wired flood lights outside my house. But they worked great for what I ordered them for. I wouldn’t say they are bright enough to use for much other than lighting a pathway at night. They have been outside and in the rain for days now and they are still working great. They are waterproof as stated!

   I bought these for different areas of my small patio and they work great. They throw just enough light and I really like the fact that I can set it on motion detection and it will come on when I need it to. Bright but not overpowering and easy to install

   Jejot’s Solar Motion Lights (6 pack) charge quickly, hold a charge, and have a variety of effective lighting options.

   These lights can be really expensive, and the quality of this kind of light varies drastically. I wanted solar to avoid power drain and running wires everywhere. Jejot’s lights turn out to be cost-effective, quality, and versatile.

   A lot of times, these lights have only one mode: always on after dark, motion-only, or switch-on. This version offers flexibility for any of these options as different modes.

   I’m always skeptical about plastic components outdoor for an extended time. These are warrantied for 5 years, so I’m hoping they will last for at least that long.

   Overall, highly recommended!
