   I’ve had the light for less than a year and it just stopped working. It started out great, but after a few months started to turn off intermittently. It has remained under the same tree the entire time. Now, it no longer works at all. This was an expensive solar light. It should be working. I’m hopeful the seller will make it right.

   High Quality Solar lights that produce an easy on the eye yet bright light. I went with the white light color. These fit perfectly around my palms and have a diameter of about 8 inches around the base of the tree. However my 3rd tree in the picture has a 12 inches around base and I was able to just not screw the two light together and you would never know the difference. I love the way my yard looks at night now. These lights come with a Very Large Solar Panel to collect enough sun to charge the batteries to keep these light lit brightly all night into morning. They are about 12×8 inches each I’d guess. They are a little expensive, however I bought the 4 year protection plan to be sure I get my moneys worth. Hopefully these lights are around for a long by time. I plan on using them as long as I have trees. My house stands out in the neighborhood. Even at night now. Hopefully everybody appreciates a nice view to notice as much as I do.

   These are good. Pretty bright and I like the idea of the rounded style to go around the tree versus the spotlights. I only wish they made it with, or had a multi color version. I like to change the lights on my trees in the yard.

   I used these to light up 9 trees in front of a hotel right next to a busy street. They are perfectly aimed upwards only, and NO lights blind people passing by. As well, when I first looked at these, the company initially made them for flag poles, so indeed I ordered more to light up our 3 flag poles in front. Absolutely spectacular. Only reason for 4 stars is, about 3 of the modules have water inside them, and they are not readily available to even order spares at this time. 3 lights out of 80 total is not too bad.

   I bought this on npcpsolar.com, as I knew that I could return it if it wasn’t up to par. First of all, it is well constructed and easy to put together. The directions are a bit lacking, but luckily it’s not a complicated item.
   Secondly, there are two things to know about it. First, you really need to charge the solar panel for at least two full days before the first time you use it. I didn’t follow that on the first one, and it didn’t work well. I followed the directions and it works beautifully. Secondly, there is an “on/off” button on the back. You have to turn it on with a click of the button. Sounds like a “duh” instruction, but there isn’t any indication of such a button on the back of the solar panel, and it’s not really readily visible.
   After that, the light is bright, goes on and off as expected, and looks great on my fairly large birch tree in the front yard.
   I liked it so much, I bought another one for the big tree in the backyard. I followed my own directions (above) for this one, and it fired right up and also looks great.
   I recommend this product.

   I bought these lights for my palm tree and I am very impressed. The main thing I like is that it does really stay on for at least 12 hours. Also, it has a huge solar panel that is separate from the lights so it can be installed in the sunlight. I highly recommend this light.
