These JSOT solar step lights are a simple and effective way to brighten up outdoor stairs at night. Installation was incredibly easy—just remove the stickers, press them down and let the sun do the rest. I’d recommend getting enough so each stair has a pair of lights rather than just one, as it makes the steps much more evenly lit. Since adding them, my dog now confidently goes down the stairs at night without hesitation. The lights turn on automatically at dusk and provide a steady glow for hours. A great purchase for safety and convenience! Compared to other options the value is really solid and they are super minimal and seem of good quality. Will see how the hold up over a summer and winter season.

These are very bright and exactly what I needed on my outdoor deck stairs. I alternated sides every step and it turned out great. Used 2 on top step and 2 on bottom step and alternated sides on the rest.

I like these stair solar lights so much that I’ve bought two packs of them! I have them on the stairs to the house, but I also have them on the deck handrails pointing up at hanging baskets. I put them in clumps of flower pots to illuminate foliage at night and I have them on some windowsills in the house to serve as nightlights. They are a warm/golden light which is what I was looking for. I am surprised how many of them are still shining when I get up at 5:00 in the morning and it’s dark. I find the adhesive tabs useful so the dog doesn’t knock them off. Take note that sometimes you have to click the button a few times for them to turn on. It’s also fair to note that at least one in each box will be a dud, and just won’t work. To me this wasn’t a big deal because there are so many of them and I found them to be very affordable. I will not likely keep them out during winter because of snow/shoveling… we’ll see!

Put these on both sides of the steps and they work and look great. In fact, multiple houses in the neighborhood have them now especially those of use who have 10+stairs because porch lights don’t illuminate all the way down to the sidewalk with that many stairs.

Lights work well, stick-um that comes with does not work well outside. I recommend alien tape or gorilla tape for patio steps outside. Lights have been working almost 8 months now, though and going strong.
