I am terribly disappointed in this item. I was going to use it to extend my time outdoors in the late summer and fall, with the ambient lighting. But just 4 weeks after setting it up, it no longer works. All instructions were followed. It worked well for the first 2 weeks. It was only used on the weekends. By week 3, it kept flickering off on its own after 5-10 minutes. We made sure the battery was fully charge. By week 4, it stayed on only a few seconds before shutting off on its own. I procrastinated a bit (busy working mom) and missed the return window. But at least I can warn other customers through this review. It really deserved 0 stars but I don’t have that option. Terribly disappointed.

Just like everyone else I must warn you not to buy this item. It’s is overpriced and does not work properly. Also it claims to be for outside and ends up getting flooded with water on the inner bits and therefore rusts.
The brightness isn’t very good even on a full charge so I really don’t recommend you buy this. Mine fell over in a wind storm and even cracked. npcpsolar.com wasn’t very accommodating with the return either so there goes this money out the trash

Top quality item. Received well packaged and no damage. Instruction and installation was relatively easy and no issue with set up. Device carries a certain heaviness, which ones again speaks to quality. Also gives some assurance that it won’t topple over in mild, windy weather. Regarding brightness, it is decent in providing a warm light. All in all it is a good product.
