   I was looking for something to add some life to my fence and I love these! There were easy to assemble out of the box and didn’t come all tangled like most products. I love that they are solar paneled and also weather proof as the ones I have purchased in the past were ruined by water. I water my grass everyday and the lights have not been affected at all. The only complaint is that I wasn’t smart enough to measure my fence first so it’s a little short but I’m ordering the 50ft ones to make it reach all parts of my fence. I was worried about the brightness of these light but they were perfectly lit. You can change the light intensity and also alternate between three different flashing modes. I also love that I can control these remotely. I’ve gotten compliments on them from both of my neighbors. One of them even ordered some for her back yard. I would recommend these for anyone looking to add a little life to their yard.

   These look great and were easy to set up. The clips and hooks that come with it are convenient. Set up in the garden – the solar panel probably 4-5 hours of direct sunlight every day, then it’s in partial shade. I could rearrange it, the length between the panel and the first light is pretty decent to allow for this, but haven’t because that seems to provide enough power to recharge the lights each day. They function well even after two heavy rainstorms. The remote control is excellent, as I put the panel in a hard to reach spot. The lights turn on automatically at dusk, and stay on until dawn. The first night after setting out I didn’t expect them to turn on automatically, and was surprised to come home to them blinking (I will never use the blinking mode) but easy enough to change the mode, dim, or turn off with the remote control.
   They set a nice ambiance and provide a little bit of light to see by. I’d prefer slightly brighter mode (I was hoping they might illuminate a grill a little better).

   I like these lights—there are a lot of lights on the string, which is pretty long, and they look pretty good. But the bulbs burn out kind of quickly. I’ve had one string for about a year now, and maybe 1/3 or at least 1/4 of the bulbs have burned out. The bulbs are bright enough that I don’t even mind for my backyard. But if you care about the aesthetics of multiple burnt-out bulbs, maybe skip these and try some lights that cost more. Or, if you try these, make sure to use the remote (works well) to turn them off when you’re not using them, which will help them last longer.

   They lasted a few months. Then ran very dim for a month. Then died. Most of the bulbs ended up filled with water. They were nice for the short time they worked.

   These are BEAUTIFUL. They are amazing for off grid camping or just putting up where you don’t want to run an extension cord. We use them camping. The remote or base allows for dimming them. I don’t think the blink/fade option is that great, but its nice to dim to make last longer or just to provide certain level of ambiance. They charge great. Sometimes depending on placement I have to unscrew the solar panel (pretty easy to do while leaving them up) an put it in the sun to charge. Or I have connected a little phone battery charger or plug them in inside. They charge quick that way in a pinch. But they are gorgeous and get lots of compliments. They are plastic too so no risk of glass breaking. I even strung them along in the grass one evening to light up a “path” to our camp and they were gorgeous.

   I’ve had these about 6 months in my back yard and they still look great and all the lights work. Gives the back yard a festive look and they were super easy to put up on the fence.

   I strung these on my peach tree,
   it makes a beautiful display.
   I set mine on ‘static’ which means
   they just come on at dusk and
   stay on without blinking.
   The remote was ok the first
   time I set them, but a month
   later, it did not function. (Possibly
   needs a new battery) Just be
   sure the solar panel gets enough
   hours of sunlight.

   These solar lights are nice and I like the remote option. I like the timer – 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, etc. which works when you press the remote for that evening. However, the instructions say it holds the memory so it will remember what time you you turned it off the previous night. Well the memory the next day does not remember your previous time. I was hoping i don’t have to set my time every night of what time it goes off. If it has memory like the instructions say, then when i set it for 2 hours or 4 hours a night, it should remember it the next day. But, the memory the next day does not remember the time. So you either have to set the time every night or it will turn off automatically in 6 hours or you can turn it off yourself with the remote. npcpsolar.com was nice and sent me another set and the new set does the same thing.
   Also disappointing is they say they have a warranty, but there is not contact information whatsoever. i tried to get ahold of the company to ask questions and there is no email or phone number or contact information on any box, instructions, etc. Red flag if you can’t get ahold of the manufacturing company or seller.
