This light is nice to look at – warm color, fairy-like lights. I like that it’s glass. However, the base is plastic, and the light comes on at dusk and is off by ten PM, even after a full day of charging.
REVISING MY REVIEW TO ONE STAR:
Very disappointed in this purchase. This light never charged well, and now has quit working altogether in spite of leaving it in full sun all day. I would not buy this again. It does not have a battery that can be changed so once it stops charging, it’s a paper weight at best.

Loved this little item, placed in a planter for some night time ambiance. Sadly my lil nephew came over picked it up and dropped it and it shattered since it was actually glass! So great product just remember kids will be kids.

These are glass which is nice. Love the crackle pattern. Yes there’s a seam but you don’t notice it at all from a few feet away. Easy to charge, just turn them on and let the sun do its thing. They take about 6 hours to fully recharge. These are solar so it’s not going to be a bright light, more like gentle candlelight without the flicker. They still work after many rains and some cold weather. Please do not expect them to recharge if you have them in a shady spot or on very cloudy or stormy days, they’re solar, they must have several hours of sunlight to recover! These are also automatic and only turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.. I put these on my son’s headstone and they still light up after 5 months. I’m going to purchase more for my sun-filled garden this spring, not to light a pathway, they’re not strong enough for that, only for decorative value. I find them quite calming. Highly recommend.

Heavier and seemingly better quality than I might have expected. Works quite well if charged all day in bright sunlight. Doesn’t work as well in the partially shaded area where I intend to use it, but still puts out light for several hours. Lasted all night when charged in bright sun. Don’t know how it will hold up to rain yet or how long it will last, but initial impressions are positive.
