Remote control does not work. Factory battery was replaced with new with the same result. Called npcpsolar.com customer service and could not understand their employee. Well, at least it’s Friday! TGIF!

This is a beautiful, high quality light! It is nice and bright, and the cord between the panel and the light is very long at over 16 feet. This is a perfect light if you need a solar light but need it somewhere where there is no direct sunlight, just place your panel in the sun and place the light where it’s needed and you’re good to go! The light stays on throughout the night with no issues, and its nice and bright! Simple to install and easy to use. I would definitely recommend!

Over the years I have purchased several solar flood lights and knew I wanted to buy a BRIGHT flood light with a large solar panel and large capacity battery. So, when I found this solar LED flood light and read the specifications, I instantly knew it would satisfy my needs. HOWEVER, it FAR exceeded ALL of my expectations and performs better than many AC powered flood lights. I connected this light to the solar panel and charged it for about 3 hours in direct sunlight… it later came on at dusk and cast a VERY bright light til dawn the next day. If you are looking for a bright flood light that will last all night long, you could spend twice as much and not find a light better than this one!

It may still be a little early to review but for now, it does indeed light up the area I need very nicely. What you should know is that it lasts 12h over the winter nights here only if it is fully charged and NOT at full brightness. On cloudy days and for the winter months I have it on the lowest dusk-dawn which is still pretty good. A drawback seems to be that if the light runs out of battery power, all settings are lost and when it is again sunny, the light comes on and stays on during charging. The settings cannot be changed with the remote or turned off with bright sunlight shining on the solar panel; it can only be done either at dusk or if it is very overcast.
Update: 12/22/2024 It has been really cold, down to 16 deg overnight but at the lowest light setting, which is still pretty good, it stays on the whole night (12h + ) with still some battery power left! I am very much thinking of buying a 3000w for a very dark back yard. If half stars were available I would give it 4/12, 5 if it were not that it has lost the settings for me if it went completely dead. Good light, hope it lasts a number of years.
