   As a solar professional it’s a bit odd with how the panel is placed. So the panel can only be faced to the north light to the south or it will not charge fully in the winter. The pole attachment and brackets are definitely weak. But overall does what you need.

   First of all let me tell you this thing is HUGE. much bigger then expected and it is very well made. Strong metal attachments and hard plastic casing. The solar panel charges quite fast. When I received it I put it outside on a chair to charge so I could test it out before hanging it up. It only stayed outside a few hours and was ready to turn on.
   The lights are LED and are VERY BRIGHT!! This thing lit up my whole front yard. It was better than the light from the power company.
   If you need a bright light for outside this is it!! Also comes with TWO remote controls so one can be somewhere and another one somewhere else. It didn’t come with batteries but that’s okay. Needs AAA
   The hardware that comes in the box are very big and long industrial bolts and screws. Very secure once it’s hung up. VERY good buy! Definitely recommend!!

   This gives off a cooler light than I typically like, however many people light bluish light so it may be ok for others. It seems well built and even came charged enough to test out of the box…yes, it blinded me lol. The are and attachments are metal and seem reasonably strong. The remotes are handy though I have yet to test their range. My one concern is having the solar panel as the top part of the light since I live in an area that gets lots of snow and freezing rain. Even though the light is slanted, I imagine snow/ice will build pretty easily and reduce the amount of light the panel will absorb during winter. To prevent this, I’ll not be able to mount the light up high. Also, the light will need to be mounted so that the solar panel is facing south for best light during winter where our days are quite short. I think the other design that has the solar panel as a separate mount would have been a better option for northern climates.

   If you don’t have snow worries, this might be for you.

   This solar light is really impressive. It’s surprisingly huge, like the size of a regular street light and it lights up almost the whole yard. It was installed on a proper where there are no lights on the streets (the outskirts of town) and it adds much needed clarity to a dark location. It comes with two remote controls that are simple to use and responsive. When you take it out the box and turn it on it will surprise you with its brightness. I can’t comment enough on how bright this is. It does not come with a post obviously, but you can just pick up a post from a hardware store, or install it on a wall. it was very easy to install and everything you need is including, all the mounting parts. Its placement is pretty versatile. This was installed at a home on a property in Northern Ontario so one thing to keep in mind is that since it is solar powered, you will need to brush off snow for it to properly charge, so don’t place it so high that you can’t reach it to clear the snow or clean it of anything else. This is definitely a concern for the property it is on, but I’m still all for solar power. It’s expensive at the current price of $230 but most people aren’t going to purchase this unless they have a specific use for it, and you definitely get size and power for what you pay.

   This works great at lights up the whole backyard but the instructions to assemble. It are terrible and how to use. It is even worse. We had to play with it to figure it all out.

   We where looking to put a light to put on the middle of tramp and playset but not sure how we where going to get power to that location. This light was perfect all solar we installed a long pole band put the light in works great. Best part is the light comes with two remotes to control it. I love in a family duplex so each side would have access to a remote!!! Great buy for me and just what I was looking for!!!
